It constantly hurts/pinches/aches grrr.......but worse of all, our new doggie had dental work done on Thursday and she's sufferred badly ever since, so that's been very draining at the mo. The dental vet says she shouldn't be experiencing pain and the vet we went to on Saturday to get her checked again, says she IS in pain arrggg!
Anyway I have bought some cheap supplies to tackle the next stage of seaglass wrap lol, fingers crossed I get to do it this weekHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. I have amended my list of 14 in 2014.
I have stitched - Redwork on to a tea towel - another part of a Christmas present ready. I used a vintage kitchen image and stitched in black to match the tea towel. I bought the tea towel in Paperchase - during a sale of course.
I have done frayed edges on this one - I backed the old cotton sheet that I stitched on with some interfacing. I will do stitched edges on the next tea towel - what do you think is best?Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

its a nickname that those of us on the knit a square thread on here gave each other. we do knitting crochet and other woolly stuff for good causes.
florence i like that patch with the frayed edging as you have mentioned you are backing the piece it wont fray too far and lays nice and flat if you hemmed it it would look neat but there is a danger the hem could create a slightly thicker bulky edge to the piece especially on the corners. try hemming a panel of scrap fabric of a similar texture and see how thick the hem will be.
savvy get well and heasl quickly vibes for you and your ankle.
going to have 1/2 hour with my cross stitch then do some ironing - only because i want to iron the bridesmaid dress bitsSPC~12 ot 124
