Love the cushion and doorstop.
DGD loved the padded hangers.

mrs-moneypenny, that's a cute bunny. I love that owl doorstop too - I have a collection of owls, but not a doorstop - yet!

the two cuddlies were from a pattern that came with the current issue of sew magazine and the doorstop was a pattern from a week by week quilt mag that came out last year, i only bought the first three issues while it was cheap
the owl is really just an oblong cube with a handle on the top and eyes, ears, beak and feet sewn on

This is the February panel from my list. It's a little "rustic" - found the muslin very hard to keep straight, even in an embroidery hoop!

thats really cute, i think id find muslin hard to stitch on as well. well done for stitcking with it its a lovely piece

I don't have the makes I did yesterday on my list so will not add the photos to the Flickr group.
It is World Book Day here tomorrow. DD is dressing up as the Snow
Queen from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Yesterday I made some
accessories for her costume. DD was a bridesmaid at a wedding in
Lapland so will wear the dress and fur jacket from that occasion. I think
she has fur boots as well.
As you can see - I had a box in my stash that I could use and some garden sticks.


I got some cheap headbands to construct a crown.


I had metallic crepe paper in my stash to cover the garden sticks and box.

The crown will be fixed in place with hair - hence the gaps.

Still have hair faux dreadlocks to make.

i bet she will look lovely in that costume

im only in at lunchtime but plan on floating round the playground and dining hall in the mock tudor dress i made for my friends 50th. I'll be the other boleyn girl.
