  • was intrigued by live whats that the necklaces were made out of before you edited that. was thinking snakes? but i recall a teacher who loved seahorses being horrified when a treasured necklace she had broke to reveal the fact it was a real seahorse skeleton dipped in something to make it pretty. EUKK so probs something like that

I'd seen necklaces made from horse-hoof nails and (I thought) live bullets, but I'm sure it would have been just the (full) bullet casing. The necklace showed up on x-rays when she tried to take it through customs.

Yes, eeeuk to the seahorse, poor thing.

I've enjoyed these so much that I'm tempted to get an extra copy of the magazine off ebay.

Also the dolls house window boxes -
not much 'crafting' on the window boxes - just cutting them to fit :o - but I made the house from a kit many years ago.

    Loving everyones' creativity.
Extra round of applause to Savvy & Roz_V for their creative writing. M became a woman, it is about time Q did too.
At present I am wrangling with an astronaut & hopefully will be able to provide photographic evidence of that by the weekend.
Lmao thanks commuterGranny, my mind is boggling at you wrestling an astronaut!

savvy - love the sea glass wrap. Great idea to use silver wire though - I believe silver has anti-bacterial properties so where it touches your skin is protected. Your wraps would become talismans.
Lol there really is no end to their use :rotfl:

I'm taking the easy option- the cards are just arrange and stick together. I have several small cross-stitch nearly finished including one of a dalmation that I customised to look more like our dalmation. But cross-stitch takes (me) sooo long, and I haven't done any recently.
Cross-stitch is truly a labour of love.
