  • Can now unveil second card as the birthday was on Friday. I've posted it on Flickr.:
This was for my DiL to be. I'm quite proud of it and she really seems to like it.
Everyone seems to be doing more than me at the moment. The pictures are great.
Mrs Moneypenny, your bridesmaid's dress will make beautiful cushions. Can't wait to see them.

Some lovely things in the gallery. Jings, you are all so talented!

    Project updates
Memory quilt - all clothing patches have now been backed with cotton so they don't stretch out of shape. The "special" patches are done too. Next job is to decide on arrangement and complete the quilt top. I've decided to back this one with fleece, so need to buy that and fabric for binding. I feel as if I'm finally achieving something with this.

Made a couple of get well cards - both the same so that I could use up the card/paper etc.

Don't know if it is of interest but this company sells pre cut border strips

    Some lovely things.
I'm struggling after losing my dog, my heart's not in it any more and I haven't even picked up a hook or needle for ages. At the moment I feel like just getting rid of it all but for now will just put it all away and have a break, hopefully my hands will get bored and I'll have to start again.

Really feel for you - had many pets and losing them is so hard. Hope you feel able to craft soon - you will be concentrating so sad thoughts will be out of your mind for a while.

Dakota - those birth samplers sound so lovely. Sorry to hear two of your friends are going through tough times though, but the samplers are a lovely idea

Sweetcarer - the wedding sampler is sweet - well done on finishing it. Thinking of you still x

Florenceem - that rocking chair is fab. Can't believe you've completed 10 already :o

Greentiger - well done on all your progress on the memory quilt

Gleeful - the card is lovely, I'm sure your DiL is thrilled

Dibuzz - the urge will come back with time. It's so horrid to lose a beloved pet, thinking of you x

FoS - I really like the sampler pattern with the words in the bells, it'll make a really unique wedding gift

DundeeDoll - good luck at your knitting night - I love going to my Woolly Wednesdays (nothing to do with the free tea & biscuits )

Charly - well done on the progress with the WIPs

I am SO sorry if I have missed anybody, but the Flickr group is looking great xx

Not much progress from me I'm afraid. Made a start on my crochet hook holder and have so far completed 2 of the pockets... only 10 more pockets & the outside cover to go :rotfl:
