I'd like to join in the 14 for 2014 Challenge - In memory of Soulie. Im a retired teacher who came back to crafting when I finished work. I then realised what I had been missing!!!
So far my list is:-
1) Complete a Fairisle tank top for me.
2) Wedding sampler for son's wedding
3) Finish off a cross stitch cushion cover started circa 1992 (it's on black fabric and so can only be done in the summer!)
4) Make all Christmas Cards
5)Make birthday cards - husband - done
6) prospective DiL
7) cousin 1
8) cousin 2
9) son
10) sister
11) Complete a quilted wall hanging, bought in California in 2009 when I finished work.
12) Complete a crosstitch Thunderbird kit started in 2007
13)Sew up cardigan finished last year (like others, I too hate sewing up
14) Knit something for charity projects
This thread is a lovely idea. Thanks FOS
I've also nearly finished the fairisle pullover. Keep crafting everyone.

Finally have a commission, so I haven't been able to craft. Will see what I can get done in half term... Also have a few reports to write, think a bit of crochet will help with the stress!

I'm sure as the year progresses I will come up with more!
I'm useless at keeping things updated! I'm also really busy so haven't been crafty much! Rainy day cross stitch is about 60% done and looking good! Been collecting brooches for my bouquet and bought one of those foam balls to practice putting the brooches I do have into a pretty pattern. I am struggling to settle on an idea/colour though. Will update further when I've stopped being so indecisive!0 -
Another little thing from me, I think it will be for mum, it is a brooch so might find a little plain purse or bag for it to go on
