I'll add more as I remember. I'm hoping to make a start on something today. Probably the hot air balloon or the curtain tie back.
Okay so I have done the hot air balloon! It took two attempts and it's still not how I envisaged it but I'm not redoing. I'm going to make some clouds and turn the whole thing into a mobile. So while the hot air balloon is finished, the mobile is not.
So this is my updated list
1. Hot air balloon mobile for the playroom
2. Sew tie backs for the playroom curtains
3. Knit purple scarf for my mum
4. Sew padded seat covers for 3 chairs
5. Sew curtains for the hallway
6. Upcycle little cabinet
7. Seat covers & cushions for kitchen bench
8. Curtains for kitchen

lynnsey thats the trouble with this thread it inspires us a little too much sometimes. i see all the lovely things other people are doing and want to try those as well as my own stuff. But i am trying to stick to my pledge of not buying anymore kits untill ive used up at least most of my stash. im letting myself buy things to complete itemsSPC~12 ot 124

Things are just so busy here, so I have decided that if I have any hope of completing 13, they are mostly going to be little things. So here is number 2

maria that keyring is beautiful
the reason im doing so well is that some of the ones ive completed are wips from last year. the stocking and titanic were almost done when the year began, the tiger im working on now was started when i bought it and i did lots of work on it over the last year on and off.
little or big it doesnt matter what matters is that we enjoy making things and when finished they give us or their recipients pleasure
found the last photo i took of tiger last year, but i must have picked him up a few times since then as he already has his front leg down to the paw when i got him back out. for those who dont go in the cafe when i bought him he was just the dark stripes. the person i bought him of told me he was clearing his mums attic, i didnt want him to get thrown away so felt someone needed to finish himSPC~12 ot 124

I have had a few days off sewing - family needs to attend to. I am working on the covers for my second swivel chair plus another two sets for when washing the others.
I am having one swivel chair to use at the computer. The second one will be sited by my industrial sewing machine.
The machine is still upstairs - not looking forward to getting it downstairs. Plan to drain the oil reservoir and remove the machine head to make it easier for moving. This machine has been upstairs since I moved here 16 years ago.
I have also got a table cover for my other sewing machine cut out.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hope you don't mind me joining the party late
I think this is a lovely way to remember a much missed member btw. I will try and do 14 things although everything else always seems more important than taking time out for me - so that's kind of why I'd like to try this and force myself to stop with the miserable things once in a while
There are many things I'd like to make but will have to learn first!
1. Male 40th card
2. Valentine's Card
3. Slate sign
4. Glitterise jars for table centres
5. Paint inside of bottles
6. Wire wrap seaglass and make thong necklet
7. Seaglass mobile
8. Seaglass anklet
9. Text Art dog shape for dog den
10. Polish seaglass, if I can acquire a stone tumbler
11. Driftwood art
12. Seaglass chandelier for garden
13. Transfer photo to canvas or fabric
14. Make party bunting for garden
