    As the original post was timed at 10:16, the delivery could well have been over 2 hours late if the planned delivery time was 8am.

    I don't think you get a set time, more like a time slot. Say 8 - 9 am.

    As by 10.16 the op had emailed Tesco, been on the phone for 30 minutes, and posted on here, I would assume they were only that late.

    Thats by the time this thread appeared. There'd be taking in the delivery & the op having a go at the driver and notivcing it's not all there which I can imagine must have been around 5 minutes.

    The op also tried to phone Tesco & said they didn't answer so must have given some time to let them answer. Factoring both of those things in I'd say it was 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes late at the very most?
