I hope you're in a better mood by the time you have your champagne party, OP, else your guests are gonna have a really shit time.

Strikes me if you ordered it two weeks ago, you've had plenty of time to take yourself to a Tesco store and buy it in person, and saving yourself 25% in the process

Seems to me that you're being a bit cantankerous and antagonistic. Just sayin'

There are various reasons for buying online, just some of which include price, getting delivery, and the time. Strikes me you're antagonistic & not that bright to boot. Just sayin'.

    blah blah .....

In the time you've wasted on here ranting you could have gone to Tesco and purchased alternative Cava, sorry, I mean Champagne.
    blah blah

Haha, if I weren't sure you were a cretin before I am now. So pathetic you can't resist having a dig suggesting that not only do I buy Cava but that I'm sad enough to pretend it was champagne lol. There's nothing wrong with Cava, if that's what I ordered I'd be happy to say so.

Both of you on ignore along with a few other, it's an excellent button.

Meanwhile this thread is here as a warning to any other Tesco customers, which they can heed or not of course.

I'm fine. I just don't like nastiness and I've seen so much of it in this thread I've decided to hit back a bit and get some of these nasty posters on my ignore list where I won't have to come across them ever again.

I mean look at the OP. There was nothing wrong with it, except maybe that it was a little strident. The comments which have been posted however are exceptionally out of order and are all at the man, not the ball.

Some of these people remind me of vultures. Sat here on a tree waiting for somebody to open a thread which they can attack.

I've only been this disappointed at the response of others to a thread once before and then I was too taken aback to do anything about it. Not this time. I'm saying my piece and getting them all well and truly plonked! I seem to have most of them now.

The ignore button is a waste of time as you still see the posts. In fact in my experience posters who make a big thing about putting people on ignore don't actually do it as they're naturally curious about what the person is saying about them.

A proper ignore button would completely remove all evidence of that poster but the one in here just shows you they've posted and then offers you a button to let you read what they post.

    It's all a bit pointless.

Who said it was for me?

Mugging yourself up in your eagerness to have a little dig. Probably best to avoid assumptions & make yourself look any more stupid.

Another one for the ignore button anyway.

It was a joke. Ignore me at your peril. My gems are legendary (and so are my breasts incidentally).

Keep pressing the ignore button and soon you will only have those that agree with you all the time...
I understand that you have had unsatisfactory service but I think that advising all and sundry on this forum to avoid ordering from tesco might be an excessive reaction. I would think that nearly everyone on this forum has had imperfect service from on line companies at some time...so who is perfect. Look at the price you are paying for decent wine from a supermarket. Ordering during a promotion will always carry the risk that the product will be popular and therefore become scarce. The terms and conditions make it clear. Late delivery is another issue and in all fairness if the delivery is going to be very late you should have been informed.....you won't answer the question...how late was it?
