Did you mean croquet with the malletts etc or crochet with crochet hooks to create fabric from yarn, thread, or other material strands.

Crochet - seems more of the OPs style. Croquet is normally played with friends and it occurs to me that might be a problem.

I don't have the time, so I'm hoping the OP will mention it in passing the next time he happens to be talking to ALDI - I'll be happy to reveal the offending branch (and no it's not Berwick-Upon-Tweed).

The Aldi business plan/model seems to be working very well so why change it ? In fact its working so well last month Aldi reported that sales were up, lidl also reported sales growth of 13.1%.

How many different types of debit cards are there (as in existence) ?
As far as I know there are only 2 types, Visa Debit and Electron.

They do behave like a business, much better than other businesses.

They do sell sandwiches, didnt use to though. Go to nearest ATM and withdraw cash and use that or use cash you have on your person.

Thats good news but considering they achieved that using their current business plan if they really got their act together they could increase those figures substantially.

I had a chat with Aldi Corporate Logistics today. After my chat I came to the conclusion that they should spend time in an actual Aldi store meeting customers and staff.

I have seen a prepayment debit card with a MasterCard symbol on it but according to Aldis ONLY list on their website VISA electron is accepted BUT VISA DEBIT IS NOT ACCEPTED.

    I disagree..
In the retail market they are a bit player and yet they have so much potential.

As regular Aldi user I have never noticed sabdwiches for sale and neither have i seen them advertised. Sandwiches if marketed correctly are a real money spinner But i certainly dont think that Aldi sandwichese will be the best thing since sliced bread.

It is very diffcicult to communicate with Aldi in the UK.

Seems strange as I regularly pay with my FD Debit card...

This thread is making me love Aldi all the more! :grinheart

Why is it strange that the customer service manager didn't realise that his FD debit card with its single VISA label is not on the Aldis accepted only list.
The Corporate Logistics department worker also didn't realise there was an accepted Card only list.

I wonder how many people are employed By Aldi Corporate Logistics ?

Will each of the Aldi seven regions have their own Corporate Logistics department ?

The customer services department are now routed through the Aldi switchboard and yet again the company telephone message is confusing.
The new customer services number is still NOT on the Aldi website.

They are supposed to be implementing a new customer services section a couple of days ago there was a different message telling about increased number of calls. "There are 19 calls waiting before you " hardly gives the impression of an happy customers calling and efficient company.

Maybe the person planing the new customer services department is the one responsible for the No credit cards and restricted debit cards based on geography policy.

Must check the USA Aldi to see if they take CC's.

When I was a store in midwest OH I was amused to hear the lady in front at say to the checkout operator "Do you know they have Aldi in Germany?". I managed to restrain my laughter.

It appears that you don't know that DELTA (as mentioned on the aldi website) is a visa debit card, as it used to be called visa delta, like maestro used to be called switch but you could still use a maestro card if it said switch. I understand why aldi don't take credit cards so I use my debit card, no big deal.
