Free is better.;)
a few people who have written in the unlock request have got it.
things are in our favour at the moment and if not there is always small claims, or RandomCurve's second option.
My adjudicator was assigned on the 4th June and I'm yet to hear, but these adjudicators will have their own practices as well, so i guess they fit the case review in when they get a gap in existing workload.
I'm sure yours will be OK.0 -
I've been appointed Mr Dean Taylor, not a good sign. Is it possible to get a different adjudicator somehow?0

RandomCurve wrote: »I'll post something up soon, but it is a really good response to have received as it is clear that Vodafone have relied 100% on their contract T&Cs (just as EE did) and have had total disregard for their obligations under GC 9.6 (to the point that they have not even acknowledged they exist!!). Again just like EE
If we play this right this response alone should get you £50 compensation!
Great! Thanks again
Looking forward to making Vodafone eat dust :rotfl:0 -
Hi
I would just like to clarify I have read everything correctly.
I did the 2 emails regarding material detriment (Price Rise March) just before the deadline and received emails back from Tmobile pretty quickly telling me to go to CISAS.
I am just doing my CISAS application and using the instructions on fightmobileincreases.com. If my bill has not risen by more than 2.7% and I took the contact out in Dec 2013, I omit those paragraphs at the top of the instructions and just fight it on materials detriment? Am I understanding this correctly?
Also can you tell me if this is the point the other cases are winning with? Also with regards to compensation I just omit the paragraph regarding TMobile's lack of response and claim for just £50?
I have been reading the thread since the beginning but my head is in a muddle due to illness so it is taking me an age to understand it:rotfl:
I would love to prove that these large companies cannot bully us when they tie you into a contract for 2 yrs then move the goal posts.
I would also like to thank Random Curve and others who have given so much of their time. I have taken a note of your nominated charity and will donate gladly!
Thank you for help

I too have got an adjudicator that has favoured EE in the past but I believe the case against EE is a strong one, any increase is of detriment, end of story. I hope this is the reason so many cases are winning. Keeping my fingers crossed but if needed Ill take it to small claims court, the amount of won cases are proof of the wrong doing EE have done.snakeyface wrote: »I've been appointed Mr Dean Taylor, not a good sign. I am on an EE 4g contract and this is what i submitted to CISAS - RandomCurve toed though that in the action to be taken i had not included the following - 'take some action' - Give a back dated penalty free cancellation and a PAC and unlock code on both contract relating to EE Account number, which i later followed up by Email and is now included.
Representative's Reference:
Details of the claim
Complaint About: Everything Everywhere Ltd
First Complaint Date: 15-04-2014
Company advised you of CISAS: Yes
Dispute Type: Contract_Terms
The Company's Deadlock Reference:
What you want the company to do
Apology Required: No
Explanation Required: No
Action Required: No
Bill Action Required: No
Money Required: £219
Product or Service required: No
Summary of the claim:
My claim is not in regards to EE (referred to as EE throughout the remainder of this claim) business decision to increase prices, as a business EE is free to make whatever business decisions it chooses. My claim is that the price rise notified to me is of material detriment as per the Ofcom definition of Material Detriment under GC 9.6, and therefore under GC 9.6 I am entitled to a penalty free cancellation.
Further I request that I be awarded £219 compensation (£73 for each made up of 2 contracts 1 x £41pm and 1 x £32 pm) of the following:
• EEs breach of GC 9.6 – not informed of my rights to cancel the contract penalty free should I consider the increase to be of Material Detriment, (£73)
• EEs initial lack of response to my email of 15 April 2014 – taking 5 days and 1 follow-up email until a response was received (£73)
• EE falling to address the points raised in my original email even though I had made it clear that a response that did not address each point would not be an acceptable response (£73).
Details are at appendix 1
Correspondence is at Appendix 2 - Referral to CISAS received in email of 28/4/14
Hope this helps0 -

Just been informed that Mr D.S. is no longer my adjudicator. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I now have a lady with the initials C.O. who can be found on this page. Anyone had previous experience? http://www.cisas.org.uk/page10_cy.html0

Just been assigned my adjudicator - Ms Claire Andrews. A quick search of this thread brings up a few other who have had her. Has anyone had a decision from her?0

Hi all,
I've been following this thread for a while now and have taken the same action. I submitted my response to EE's defence at 0900 on Friday 6th. I had the automatic reply saying they'll aim to reply within 5 working days. I haven't heard anything yet with regards to them assigning me an adjudicator ... I'm assuming this will be the next step?
How long do CISAS typically take to assign the adjudicator?
Have many people gone beyond 5 working days between submitting their response and then hearing back from CISAS?
Thanks0
