I've just received a letter reporting the meeting of creditors and it doesn't look likely that we people who've lost their phones will receive anything. I was wondering how relevant this would be as a criminal case? If they knew they were winding up and continued to take people's phones isn't that unlawful?

That would only be the case after the winding up order ...untill then they can trade as normal.

I feel utterly defiled right now. I'm not even massively fussed about the money anymore, I just feel like this is a huge injustice to people who have been robbed by them. Trading Standards can't do anything anymore, and it appears to be the case of there being no prospect of any class of creditor getting anything back now. If anyone has any success in any regard with this, please post here to make others aware. As I will also.

I'd also like to point out the email address of the liquidator is mail@capital-books.co.uk if you have lost anything regarding C4P. It doesn't appear that it will do any good, but I was recommended to email these confirming my intentions to claim against C4P.
  • I received the report too from capital books, does the folowing statement mean that "there appears to be no prospect of a dividend for any class of creditor".

Completely ridiculous if it does, they have stolen people's mobiles! Its thefted. Also why is the chairperson Nearchos C?, it should be impartial???
