Was it the Barnet branch you spoke to ?

I'm not sure to be honest with you. It was just the number on their website.

Thanks1 I'll give C4P the time I've stated on the letter to respond and then I'll use the info you've given me for TS. Should make the process a lot quicker if I use an already designated caseworker.

..., they've told me to get back once my 'deadline' passes on my letter if I've heard nothing. :)
Yet another proof how teeth-less and useless UK Trading Standards are. They expect a customer to send a LBA and wait until the deadline before they even consider intervening.
  • And then they probably won't!

Email them back and tell them you've got 6 iPhones you want to send but can they ring you first :rotfl:

  • So i got a red letter basically threatening doorstep collection from a debt recovery agency.
The wise move was to stop it all there and settle the debt unfortunately i didn't have the cash but i did have an iphone 5 and a first generation ipad so i thought id pop online and see what i could get.... To my excitement i found that Cash4Phones would give me £349 for the both of them - Feeling satisfied that my debts would soon be clear i inputed my details and eagerly awaited the freepost envelopes and sent away my package presuming within the next couple of days id receive payment. Before calling the agency to set up a payment for the debt to be taken from my account.

Three days passed and i checked my account online with Cash4Phones and its still showing as if they've not received the package. Ive emailed them and tried to contact them but of course have had no luck. Since then ive actually Google'd the company name and found out that pretty much everyone is having the same problem.

This is now a Plea for help. Does anyone know how i can get my money or at least my phone/tablet back?
