Another Cash4Phones complaint...

I'm starting to think something untoward is going on. Absolutely NO response to ANY emails I'm sending, and I've been on hold to them for almost TWO hours and still nothing. I've sent a letter stating all the required legal stuff and I'm not expecting a response. Has anyone actually had any contact from them in, say, the last 48 hours? Off to CAG and Trading Standards I go!

Can I ask if you managed to get through? And if so how long it took?

I tried that email that you provided but no success. I doubt he would reply even if he saw it.

Same for me, I naively used them through the compare and recycle comparison site, same wear and tear nonsense as everyone else, as it was only a Tocco lite I just accepted so they 'paid' me on 27th September but nothing in my account, they never answer emails or phonecalls.

Isn't this the company which was featured trying to claim excessive wear and tear on an iPhone Watchdog sent in?

Any site where they can hold your item to ransom (how much do they make on the £8.95 return fee?) should be avoided

I've sent them a recorded letter requesting payment within 7 days of their receipt of it. Then it's off to court we go. As a side note, what honestly needs to be done for companies like this to be punished? There's so many articles, reports, investigations, and complaints about them and still they are scamming so many people. They said in reply to one company's investigation in to them that they process up to 10,000 phones per week and they still get away with this. I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company...they don't answer their phones, they don't reply to emails, they lower offers on phones unjustifiably, they don't pay people what they owe. It's unbelievable and I'm going to spend so much of my time and effort making people aware of them. I've never been so pro active about anything. They're criminals as far as I'm concerned.

Have you spoken to Trading Standards yet ...if not you need to.

Yep spoken to them this morning, they've told me to get back once my 'deadline' passes on my letter if I've heard nothing.

Was it the Barnet branch you spoke to ?
