What is everyone doing this Xmas? Do you have any little traditions you do every year?
My little boy is 2 and I would like to start doing things each year, like I have bought "The Night Before Christmas" to read to him on Xmas Eve, and I have also got the Snowman on DVD to watch with him!0 -
My daughter always has an elf pressie for everyone, new pj's, a few treats, a dvd for the kids, etc. Everyyhing is popped on the doorstep by her hubby a few mins before she "hears" a knock on the door. Thats the start of their christmas eveTreat other's how you like to be treated.

Aww that's lovely! I want to do something like that on Xmas Eve when my son is a bit older, but I don't think he would understand this year. But the whole elf thing sounds so nice! I have seen boxes you can buy for Xmas eve and they have allsorts in them, like the PJ's, sweets, popcorn, DVDs, hot chocolate etc.
Have you seen those "elf on a shelf" things? Where you buy a little elf and tell the kids that the Elf has been sent to watch over the house and report back to Santa on how the kids have been! Ha ha
I think this year we will snuggle down, watch the snowman and then read the night before xmas in bed and tell him all about Santa!
I have some "reindeer food" that you sprinkle outside and it has glitter in it to light the way, so you tell the kids its so Santa can see the house from the sky, and the reindeer can smell the food! Again though, think it may be a bit lost on him this year... but worth a try!0 -
You have some lovely idea's already, sounds very nice. I love the reindeer food idea, where do you get the elf on the shelf from? Is it just a little elf that you sit on a shelf? (having a blonde moment lol):cool:Treat other's how you like to be treated.
