Had a bad few days with a back spasm, food was whatever I could stand long enough to get, recovered by Monday night.

Seem to have been eating donations, 1 friend gave me a pack of ready cooked sliced beef in gravy from Iceland to try, was ok, another gave me a chicken kiev from butcher to try, not bother with that again.
Do I need it or just want it.

Not really using much out of store cupboard or freezer at the moment - so much fresh veg from the garden we are freezing the surplus. Need to make cucumber soup today!

Made doner kebab with mince from freezer which I'll reheat for dinner tonight.

Have got some dried chickpeas soaking to make a Chana Masala for tomorrow.

A couple of loaves of bread for DH into the freezer today as he eats different bread to me and I can only get it in Mr Ts.
  • Had online order yesterday so have put 5 packs of blueberries in as well as some baby corn. Most of other goods put in "Brexit Box". Usual stuff but as I eat all regularly and is all long lasting it will be just in case. Last but one portion piri piri beef mince out for tonight and some of my pasta stock, some of which I have in BB along with tinned toms, I do not eat them often but if I want pasta dishes I will need and I wonder if pasta and toms may be a little bit reduced in shops, not that I know!!.

  • Had chicken breast from freezer last night, some chicken cubes and some pasta tonight so a little progress. Am having fresh bananas on porridge at brekkie so the blueberries are not being used from freezer but they will be. Last of hm bread buns now eaten and most of the bread slices too, as well as a few chunks of hm cake. Am forcing myself not to make bread for the next couple of days as half has to go into freezer and I have 3 slices still.

Got a chicken out of the freezer Friday and now cooking in the SC. That will do dinner for the next 3 days at least - with roast potatoes & veg today; curry tomorrow and Spanish rice Tuesday.

I have to get some meat out for this week - I think it will be chops to use with home-grown broccoli, kale, carrots and runner beans. I must use what is in my freezer or I will be looking at buying a fourth device (two are small!)
