Making a cauliflower & blue cheese soup for lunch using frozen cauliflower.

Dinner tonight will be a butternut squash, sweet potato and red lentil curry with rice using frozen squash, lentils and rice from stores. Sweet potato needs using up as has been in the bag for nearly a month! So a very :money: day today. Also using my own curry powder mix which was also made from store cupboard ingredients.

Got some braising steak out of the freezer yesterday for tonight's dinner. Doing braised steaks, shallots, carrots & swede will have with mash and probably some green beans and/or cabbage.

Hoping there may be enough for another day but may end up being beefless so just casseroled veg!

Need to check menu plan to see if there is anything needs to take out of the freezer for tomorrow.

Using up quite a few things from the freezer and cupboard for today's meal.

Porridge for breakfast; 2 pea soup for lunch - dried peas from cupboard; frozen peas plus an onion and small potato.

Dinner tonight will be gammon steaks from freezer bought a while back on a Lidl weekend half price deal; bubble and squeak using up LOs from yesterday; a fried egg and tin of beans from cupboard.

Have got out 2 lots of LO veg casserole for lunch as DD2 is coming and each bag isn't enough for 3 of us. DH will be pleased because he'll get more than usual, LOL!

Tonight's dinner will be a fish curry & rice using frozen white fish fillets.
