Last of the weekend's chicken has been frozen to make some chicken curry at a later date! Using up the small bits tonight to make a Spanish rice - chicken & chorizo risotto.

Jerk beef stew has been taken from the freezer for dinner tomorrow night.

Was going to have a beef stew but couldn`t put my hand on the beef pieces, found a neck fillet so had lamb stew instead.
Do I need it or just want it.

Couple of things out of the freezer for today.

HM carrot & lentil soup for lunch and liver for dinner. Will have the liver with bacon, mash & veg.

Made some chicken stock from the chicken carcasses from the freezer. Has made a litre of jellied stock so will pack into a couple of freezer bags ready to be used for soups, casseroles etc.

I processed a whole jar of chick peas as I am making chilli today. Only to find I might not have enough room in the freezer for 5 boxes of can-size portions  - I need to tetris-shuffle

Thats my problem with chick peas, do a batch in SC, parcel them upin individual portions and then pop them in spaces in freezers. Unfortunately I do not label often but as they are smaller bags, I lose them. Note to self, put small bags into a larger bag so I recognise them.
