Made beef stew using frozen beef, mushrooms, onions, fresh carrots, beef cubes, sploge of ketchup and squirt of tomato puree to finish tube, squirt of garlic and it was lovely, thinking of using the 2nd portion to make a pie, will buy pastry.

Fish, sweet potato fries and peas all from the freezer today for dinner. Had sardines on toast with hot sauce for lunch, sounds odd but was surprisingly good. Trying to eat out of the cupboard and freezer this week for midterm, I find it easier when the kids aren't in school

Camomile

Venison something dug out from the bottom of the freezer.
Pack of mince residing there for over a year has just been turned into ragu and mixed with fresh one.
Need to find use for a pack of pork mince, any suggestions welcome.
Need to use up various bits of chicken as well.

Freezer clearance well under way as I’m truly skint this month

Meatballs would be nice with the pork mince. Even better if you can mix it with beef mince and make beef and pork meatballs. I like mine in a simple arrabiatta sauce over spagetti

Just a packet of mince out to make beef and squash lasagne for dinner tonight. Not sure whether there will be any left to freeze as it's a new to me recipe I'm trying. Supposed to be 2 portions but I know sometimes that recipes make more than that for us.
