I think NSK may be a woman, referring to a female friend, not a bloke referring to his partner
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
I did think that but the term 'my girlfriend' threw me as it was singular which gave the impression it was their other half (really REALLY hate the phrase 'partner') and all one word... rather than 'one of my girl friends'....
but i am just a typical bloke.0 -

While I suspect this is firmly tongue in cheek I think I'll say this just for the sake of clarity.
DON'T DO THIS, DON'T BE THAT GUY, THAT'S JUST WRONG ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS!
Incidentally, I'm not entirely sure I'd date someone I worked with, I personally just feel it's a bad idea, if things go wrong then it can cause all sorts of awkward stuff and well, no one wants or needs that!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
To the OP: Have to agree with the general consensus that her response is more than likely a no, with a gentle let down. But hey; you had the balls to ask her in the first place! You get waaaay more man-points and respect for that than you would have if you'd just followed her round like a puppy for a few months.0
