  • You need a match maker...

I was introduced to my wife by my ex...do you have an ex?

tell her you will stop stalking her if she fixes you up on a date with the lady in question...It worked for me. 29 years later, 23 year married, 2 kids and lots of happy memories....All thanks to my ex.

Nice story. However, in reality he'd probably have more chance if he didn't get a friend to ask her - like a shy 14 year old would - and just asked her out himself.

Bang on. The only reason a man is friends (or friendly) with a female is to try and get in her pants. End of. If it hasn't happened yet, sooner or later he will make a move.

I would opine that once this "move" is out of the way it is possible for a man and a woman to be friends, but it is rare.
I do agree that men will usually rate their female friends on attractiveness (to themselves), but just because a bloke is friends with a woman doesn't mean he actually wants to take her to bed.

    I'm almost insulted :p

What has happened to me before, is that I've been friends with a woman for a long time and I didn't find attractive to start with, has grown on me.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

I met my husband at work, we have been together 20 years. Ive recently gone back to work and work in the same department as him. He sits about 5 desk in front of me. We are very professional and often done acknowledge each other if busy. Just prepare yourself if it goes wrong or she says no.

Hiya all! Just a quick update. I asked her today if she fancied going for a drink sometime and she said that she's busy for the next couple of weeks, but we could maybe meet up after when things are quieter for her.
So it's not a yes or a no at the moment but I think it went quite well.
  • That sounds like a polite no, to be honest.
