I agree with tiger, test the water first and build things slowly. I also think you sound lovely.

    Agreed.And you do sound lovely!

Looks like you got a couple of fallback options over here if things don't work out, super-stud!

Could you organise a little works drink type thing with a few other people? When you're out it might be easier to open up a little. If any other colleagues come sniffing around her, poke 'em in the eyes and say it was an accident.

You sound nice OP so I hope it works out for you but....

I'd never date anyone from work.
The bosses will get annoyed that you are both distracted and wanting the same lunch hour or e-mailing each other or meeting by the copier. They may even have a policy of no dating.
They'll also be annoyed when you have a row or split up and your moods affect the office ambience.

If it all goes wrong after a while, you'll probably be the one to decide to leave as you'll be sensitive to the atmosphere and that may or may not be the best thing for your career.

Anyway, as I say I hope it works for you and I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Asking her to lunch or a drink after work sounds like the best move. Oh and great you're doing the scrupulously clean persona. Ladies like nice smelling men (or women) with good teeth and clean finger nails. The condition of your clothes speaks volumes too. Clean shoes and neatly pressed clothes show you take a pride in your appearance so you'll probably have a clean bed!

I think you should find out for sure that she is single before you make a move .;)

If she is , get chatting to her .... ask her if she fancies a drink one night after work ... Go on .... Go for it .... What have you got to lose ?
If the worse happens and she says no , then I'm sure somebody just as lovely will soon come along ... If she says yes , then that's a bonus .;)
Hope things work out for you x

Don't take any advice from Amistupid unless you want it to play out like a "carry on..." movie.

Double edged. She might not like office types. She might be into the rugged type. Lots of women like men with dreadlocks, ZZ Top beards, greasy denims, army boots, ear rings, nose studs, etc. As to clean beds...who cares? They don't call it "the sack" for nothing.

I think the best thing to do is to find out what she is interested in, and find something you have in common. For instance you might both be into opera...and there might be Tannhauser playing at a theatre near you.

Don't bother with after shave. Women love pheremones.

    Bon voyage.
