hi ladies, I'm a grumpy bunny today, AF due today and I'm all crampy and hormonal. I hate being ruled by my hormones and I hate the horrible feeling that this is never going to happen for us. How silly of me to think it might!

I almost cried at my desk when the 6 1/2 month pregnant lady came strolling in stroking her bump, proud as punch.

Anyhoo, T2D, massively exciting for Wednesday, fingers crossed they finally have a good plan for you.

Tea, when are you due to start DR?

PM - not heard from you in a wee while, is everything ok?

Codemonkey, not sure where you are in Scotland, I cycled at GRI and they gave me the drugs there and then, didn't have to go to the pharmacy. It was a private cycle, but I don't see why it would be different for an NHS one. Was very easy and they just topped me up as I went along.

MrsDavo - good luck for the next clomid cycle, great it's at least making you a bit more regular!

WonderWoman - if in doubt about anything at all, ask! You'll feel reassured and I doubt there are any questions left they have not heard before.

Peonie, wow, 17th is not long, hope it speeds by!

Hi to all the newbies! Hope you are not here long, I hope none of us are here much longer!

    hugs everyone xx
(feel free to hug me back, I really need them today!)

    Hi All,

    Hope you're all well.

Can I ask a quick question for those that have had an HSG? I had mine on Wednesday morning and had a bit of cramping for a few days after. Nothing too bad. Last night I started getting relatively sharp pains in my left side. It's happening again this morning. In a way it feels like someone is pinching my insides sharply.

Did anyone else experience this? Not sure whether this is something to be expected.

    Thanks

    FA x

Nice to see/hear from you  how did it go?
My body grumbled about it all the way to the next af, I think, so I just took it all as "normal". Hth

awww, thanks ladies. I know I'll be ok in a few days, once the good hormones kick in, but it sucks in the meantime! xx

Fannyanna, not sure if I had an HSG, I had the one where they look for dye with an ultrasound. If that's the same, then no I didn't get any sharp pains afterwards. Does it feel like pain in your ovaries? Maybe they are a bit grumpy from being prodded with the ultrasound wand? Or maybe your tubes are in spasm? Always worth a call to NHS direct/24, or your GP if you are worried.

    xx

Ooh newbies, I like it! Now let's hope we're all out of here by Christmas :) How bad is that new Johnson's baby advert?? No need!

Just seen it. You're quite right. No need. I already feel like a worthless, dried up barren creature without tv adverts reminding me.

Still not heard from the fertility clinic either.

I had some sharp pains (think it was left side) afterwards but it wasn't bad enough for painkillers. A warning: HSG seem to upset my body as AF was 3 weeks late that cycle, which made me think I thought I was pregnant.

Thanks for the info Tea, had no idea there were so much of each medication. Fab news T2D :T. Hope your FS pushes things forward at your next appt.

Big hugs littleme and SewIt. I hope you hear soon codemonkey; so frustrating that every stage takes so long.

My FS referral seems to have fallen into a black hole and the CCG (who make the referral) can't give me information as they don't deal with that sort of thing .
