And the phrase "you'll understand when you a mother..." should be consigned to deepest, darkest pit along with "relax & it'll happen" and "you should just adopt".
:rotfl:I'm getting the 'relax and it'll happen' alot followed by a story of someone's mum's dogs sister who waited 6 years and then had 4 kids etc.
It is CD12 for me today and as it is my 1st Clomid I wanted to hammer the babydancing this cycle however DH is in a bit of a low mood at the moment over some circumstances (not relating to us) and I dont really want to be insensitive and force the issue, but I dont want to miss the window of opportunity! ..... When did such a previously fun thing become a chore0 -
WonderWoman - if in doubt about anything at all, ask! You'll feel reassured and I doubt there are any questions left they have not heard before.
Thank you SewIt, am trying to do as much research as I can but end up worrying myself!
Had my haircut today and guess what... yep my hairdresser is 3 1/2 months preggers. She's absolutely lovely and so pleased for her but still had a bit of a "waaah why can't it be us?!" moment. To make matters worse had to sit there for 45 minutes while she told me all about how it happened the first month she came off the pill etc - my stomach flipped when she said that0 -
Not sure I mentioned, but I have quite an exciting appointment on Wednesday. The oncologist and FS finally managed to speak to each other, apparently for 20-30 mins, and have made a plan for me!
Ooooh exciting T2D! Looking forward to hearing about what they've come up with
MrsD - congrats on your upcoming nuptials! How lovely
Big fat juicy :grouphug: to you Sewit xx
Danielley - another Liverpool Women's patient! You're the fourth current one that I know of. There's also me, Peonie, and Teacakedeath, currently coming up for IVF at the Hewitt Centre at Liverpool Women's so any Qs let us know!
Hugs also to cwtw. Good luck with your tests xx
PM fingers crossed your follies are playing ball now! They have been very very naughty!
My bugbears:
People who change their FB profile picture to their child's face. I swear now never to do this.
The sentence:
"You've never known love until you've had a child"
...OH F*CK OFF!0 -
Ww some people have all the luck don't they.
Wtdn thanks hope the follicle has grown, tried to get dh to bd but he's doing other things, warned him earlier and he agreed grr so infuraiting its taking so long to get an egg I can't afford to miss one.0 -
Hey everyone. Just had my follow up letter and invoice from the FS. Wow. We have always been led to believe that I'm not OV and DP is fine. According to FS that's utter BS.
He has looked over all our results and DP SA results show that be only has 10% grade A and B. 34% are grade C and 56% are grade D. Apparently this is because a hernia op he had 3 years ago could have caused potential infertility. We're absolutely shocked. FS still recommends a further 3 Clomid cycles. But says it would be IVF with ICSI.
I think I just want to curl up and cry. We've no chance of conceiving naturally. Hopes of 2 children need to be forgotten. We'll be lucky to get 1.

Littleme, don't think like that. I had ICSI, don't forget you've got a higher chance of a multiple birth and also some frosties. Yes, it's more expensive, time consuming and soul destroying, but just 20 years ago ICSI didn't even exist. Modern technology is amazing and rates are only going to get better. Chin up xxx0 -
Little me I know in some way how you feel, huge hugs to you.its such a shock to find out but we do have Icsi.0

Hi thank you both for replying. We had the test done in May and were told by the GP the SA results were fine. But they're not are they? All this time we've had the glimmer of hope that as its me with the problem take pills and you're fixed.
I know medical science is amazing it just came as a shock. We never expected to read that tonight x0 -
