Thanks ladies, the egg dance would be great. Will have been injecting 6.5 weeks by the time of trigger praying the follie doesn't leave again. 15mm is quite a good a good size so hoping it gets bigger and gives me a nice ripe juicy egg.

Good luck PM! :D I'd use it now and then - you only need a bit anyway so I doubt you'd run out ;)

SewIt, I had to get my head around the idea that 1 biological/carried by me child would be a stretch (probably not impossible, because of my age at the time and technology etc, but a stretch) but more than that very unlikely. It definitely featured as something to get my head around, when I was told I not only had PCOS and endometriosis, but also dodgy tubes. I thought we were heading for a life of ivf and/or fostering kids, maybe with a view to adopt. We still may do that, but I really at the time thought we wouldn't be able to afford -financially, emotionally or mentally - to go through the IVF again to get siblings for any miracle child we did manage.

Since conceiving (miraculously, I feel!) naturally, without intervention, I'm still a little lost at sea on the idea of siblings. I think we'd very much like to have more biological kids, but we'd also like to foster/adopt somewhere down the road. Our chances are highest for natural conception pretty soon after birth (I'm 6m pg) as my endometriosis should be at it's best, but my health conditions may just simply not allow me to cope with another pregnancy as well as motherhood. So, for now, it's very much wait and see.

And, from where I'm sitting now, I do agree with tea & fluff - if I never get to experience this again, I'll still be very very lucky to have managed it once and although I'm sure we'd find it upsetting if we couldn't manage it again, I think we'd manage in a much better/different way than with the primary infertility.

Having said that, I think it's very much about what you'd set yourself up for. If you thought you'd never have a problem, or that you managed (even with assisted conception) relatively easily for the first, you could be more prone to thinking it would be like that for any subsequent child. That, I would imagine, would be a very difficult thing to come to terms with in a similar way to primary infertility. But if you've really struggled to get your first, I don't think you'd take those next steps in your life plan so much 'for granted', so your approach and associated upset would be different...?

Hope that's not too rambling and actually makes some sense...! And isn't too offensive to anyone :o
