Code How are you & DH doing?

We're ok. It's a bit of a weird one really. It's a bit like that bit in Up where they're planning for babies and then they're crying in the doctors office, then they just get on with life. We're sad, I'm not sure if I should be attending the HSG or keeping wee in my freezer because we've not cancelled DH's surgery yet. I'm also creating problems to take my mind off it, I think. Inventing new problems, like inappropriate crushes (not that I'd ever do anything you understand, but I have been getting into trouble for drooling too obviously over Roman Reigns). Sigh.

chocoholic_chick - thanks for your kind words. The same thing happened with our letter. It just seemed to disappear into a vortex. Then the appointment letter never arrived and we only found out there was one when we phoned to check. The SA has to be done before they'll take things any further so keep pushing your OH.

T2D, WTDN, Peonie, well done on the PUPO. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you.

Happy birthday Tea. (because we can)

Just been watching Sun, Sex and Suspicious parents in Thailand and a wee guy on that went off with a prostitute and his mum was watching!! :rotfl:

    Sewit

Sorry to hear your feeling blue, hugs to you.even though we know its the drugs it's near impossible to separate the feelings from the hormoans.

The last few times I've been to a&e for the bleeding they have either just kept an eye on me or given my transfemicacid sorry bad spelling I can't think of the proper name, but its ment to slow the bleeding but never done much for me.
  • Hugs to everyone, and Happy Belated Birthday Tea :)

Must stop reading the Trying to Conceive thread, very frustrating.

Does anyone use a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor? Thinking of getting one, as I don't really track Ov as I hardly ever got +OPK but my FS said that could be due to using cheapo ones. QUOTE]

Danielly I use a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. I would definitely recommend it (well, you know, despite the fact I'm still not pregnant!) I really struggled with OPKs. You're supposed to use OPKs in the afternoon which basically means rushing home from work desperate to pee every day. I got my CBFM 2nd hand from a friend. I don't know if you would get one from eBay maybe? The only thing is that the sticks are expensive too. One advantage is that it gives you the 4/5 days when your fertility is high rather than just going for the panicky "It's D Day - s£x now!" type scenario.

PM - hugs. And agree about the TTC thread.

    Happy (late) Birthday tea.
vesper - congrats to your DH
Peonie - I hope your sister is better soon.
ctww - agree with the others. Clomid doesn't do much if you ovulate regularly. NICE now recommends couples with unexplained infertility should be offered IVF after 2 years TTC. Hopefully your FE can refer you for the right treatment.

CD1 today so can start my ICSI cycle. Baseline booked for Saturday morning and should start stimming on Saturday or Sunday evening.

:j:j yay!! Although... weren't you supposed to be my cycle-twin?!? I haven't even ov'd yet!

Numpty alert - finally managed to get hold of the hospital about the prescription and they pointed out that I’d be over there a LOT of times before I need the pregnyl (trigger shot) so could just pick up the prescription once I start scans. This is, of course, unbelievably obvious now it has been pointed out to me…. felt like a right numpty lol.

So panic over, am all ready to go if I ever get round to CD1.

ETA: I've also written 'numpty' twice in one paragraph.... heavens above I need a lie-down!
