    Catchup on a few personals

*Fairydust* You mentioned reflexology. I do acupuncture regularly, and I did reflexology last weekend to relax. But I don't actually think it was proper! I think it was really Thai leg massage, lots of long sweeping leg massage and stretching, and not a lot of pressure points. Sort of nice, but I was a bit annoyed it wasn't what I asked for.

Good luck tomorrow!! The follies sound good, and the trigger shot will give them all a big boost. Be ready for a big sleep tomorrow. I think both Peonie and I had a big afternoon nap.

Someone mentioned not looking at the other people at the clinic. I totally look at everyone! On Wednesday the one other girl and I were in the waiting room after, waiting to be allowed to leave. We exchanged a few smiles, and wished each other good luck when I left. Felt nice to be in it with someone else.

My clinic is really small. They moved us back to the waiting room with the canula still in our arms to wait to empty our bladders. In with all the other ladies, and a bunch of elderly people as some consultants for a range of specialisms use the same waiting room. Wednesday must be the day people bring their husbands though. Even the non-EC people all had hubbies with them, so I was checking them all out too. I am just extremely nosy, but hopefully I'm pretty subtle!

*angeltreats* hugs for funeral. It's been such a tough year for you. Lets hope 2014 is better

*Star02* didn't know they took multiple lots of sperm. good idea though- I always worry on EC day and things won't work!
  • Huge hugs code.
So sorry about your news. Please take care of each other. This is a very tough time for both of you.

Oh my goodness, I look at everyone in the waiting room. I've not seen anyone else look at the other people like I do. For 3 of my scans I went on my own so OH could work but the majority of other people are there with partners.

Thanks for updating the list T2D. Also, I'm preparing my self that a few of our embies will not make it to blast.

WTDN - good luck for tomorrow.

I totally look at the other people! I'm always on my own for scans (OH just comes for ec/et or if we're seeing consultant) so I need something to do while I'm waiting. The funniest was when my dad had to take me in when I was ill after ec, did think that must have looked quite funny. I look pretty young (am 35 next wk but always getting id'd) so sitting there with my 66 yr old dad must have looked interesting!
  • Evening ladies, apologies I've not posted on this thread yet but I wanted to see if anone else who had been TTC for a while had experienced this. Advance warning of TMI! 12 DPO I started spotting as normal, 15 DPO I wake up, go to the loo and AF has arrived, but the amount Im bleeding is far more than normal with lots of clots, I have diarrhoea and feel sick. Ten minutes after putting a tampon in I've leaked everywhere and had to change, it continues like this all morning, having to change a few times an hour and literally when I take a tampon out big clots come out. Afternoon gets better, the next day very little ( more like spotting ) and today nothing at all. Normally AF is here for 3-4 days and fairly light so this is unusual for me. I didn't have the normal symptoms that she was coming ( tender boobs, emotional etc ) So I just wanted to know if anyone else has had similar? We have our next appointment with the fertility doctor at the end of February, should I tell him about this?

Code: I have no words . Nothing useful to offer or say, but I'm so very sorry to hear of this latest catastrophic blow :( Thinking of you :o

In a word: yes. Anything out of the ordinary for you is worth mentioning. I've had AFs like that, they're horrible and worrisome sometimes  keep a eye on your iron intake while you're losing blood like that as it will make you feel even worse if you become anaemic :o if you become particularly worried you can of course go and see a doctor sooner than your appointment next month (I went to the out of hours once) but in all fairness there's little they're likely to do other than perhaps prescribe something to make the bleeding slow (theoretically).
