I've just had the call from the hospital and we have 8 embryos. Yay. ET is on Monday. I'm a bit concerned. If AF comes early, due on Friday, our little pea might not have enough time to bed in.

I was in quite a bit of discomfort last night. For anyone going through EC I suggest not eating food that you know causes you flatulence It was made worse by my cold resulting in coughs, sneezes and having to blow my nose. Who knew those muscles were used so much.

I'm glad I booked today off work. It would have been difficult to have gone in.

In December I joined the works health fund so I can get some acupuncture for free. I need to book it for pre and post ET.

Your AF will be delayed by the IVF. The drugs mess it up. You basically OV'd today, so assuming a normal LP you are due in 14 days from now.

Strange conversation last night.
Me: So we have 9 eggs. It's a rubbish number, as you can't say 'thats a football team, or a cricket team'. Or even the fab four, or famous five. Or lucky chinese number 8
DH: Um.. It's a baseball team?
*DH thinks: My wife is nuts, and on drugs. I should humor her... *
Me: They said about half looked good, so if we get five tomorrow we will call them the famous five.

So until they become the fab four, or THE ONE, I am now thinking of my famous five. At least for a day.

ETA: This is crazy lady information that I can only tell you lot!

I've some cetrotide left over - I think the expiry date is the end of this year. I've kept the cetrotide and left over syringes in case I need them again. Wouldn't it be illegal to sell it without a licence etc?

Thanks, I had no idea it would get delayed.

I know a few beans may not make the next few days but I hope beyond hope we have enough to freeze.
