WW - our ivf failing knocked me and dh like 20 tonnes of bricks. It takes time, tlc and for us a holiday to process it and move past it. It's not been long so take your time and sending hugs your way too. Xx

Fairy/Frozen - I'm doing ok, no headaches but I had a wee hot flush yesterday which was thankfully over quite quickly. Other than that I feel ok, a bit flat and finding it really hard to be positive that this cycle will work. trying to put that down to the drugs!

Ok, I've eaten something and finally stopped crying. So...at the appointment, they discovered that DH really does have only one testicle as the other one has shrivelled up. There is no sperm tube in the existing testicle and because its smaller than usual, the operation is too risky - there is a good chance DH will lose the testicle, which would mean he's castrated, would need to take testosterone for the rest of his life and we'd never have sex again. There is also a less than 40% chance they'd get any sperm and an even smaller chance of getting something useable. DH needs an MRI to check if he needs an operation to remove the shrivelled testicle. We now need to decide whether to continue (the fs wasn't very positive) or walk away.

Naturally, we're broken hearted. DH cried in the car (he never cries) and I cried a lot when he told me. At some point I need to call my mum and tell her and no doubt she'll cry too. I have a horrible headache now. And in a universe mocking me kind of way everything on tv is about people having kids or being pregnant and facebook is full of baby photos.

Never thought I'd be jealous of people having ivf, but life seems determined to kick me. Its especially bad because I'm on a fast day today.

On a more positive note, you lot will all just have to have babies to cover my share. Fantastic news about the embies t2d and peonie.
