When you say soon, do you mean the next 2 months soon? My contract with o2 runs out next month and I was going to renew and get a new phone?Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0

Is not only 02 trying 24 month contracts... have seen them on the orange site for a while...
Last year 02 released new tariffs in jul lets see if that is the case again...
My contract runs out in July, have received both mail and email inviting me to upgrade now but I think I will wait until next month to see these new offers.
Currently on 500", 500sms, £30 with (£120 credit)0 -
Yes within the next two months, our tariffs run in quarters so new tariffs come out every 3 months or so..:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

My contract runs out in Jan but no way would I enter a 24 month contract cos its not value for money. Might go back to sim only0

The 12 month tariffs are going to be dearer whereas the longer ones are going to be cheaper therefore being better value for money overall, plus you get an extended warranty with the handsets:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

Sim only is the way to go.0

New o2 tariffs coming soon are to include mainly 18 and 24 month terms.
These will include 22,000 minutes or texts through long weekends.
Sim only packages will have same allowances but will be £10 cheaper than line rental charges on monthly contracts.
Be out soon, keep an eye on https://www.o2.co.uk
Absolutely hilarious. 22,000 minutes or texts? Well, let's put this into context.
There are only 96 hours in an o2 long weekend x 60 = 5760 mins x 4 = 23040 minutes. So, by my calculations (allbeit, maybe wrong), you will have to be talking on the phone for roughly 91 hours each weekend to actually use up all the free minutes.
Yes, 91 hours.
Or, texting, you'd have to text 1375 texts per day, during a long weekend day.
Who is going to use that?
Complete advertising sham!0 -

So..in the ever changing world of mobile phone companies where good deals are announced all the time, having a 24 month contract is good value? No way! And no network currently does a good cross network anytime minutes/text deal that'd make me sign up for 2 years. We're over charged by networks in the u.k and they change terms all the time0 -
So 400 minutes and 1000 texts for £30 is not good?:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0
