Successful complaints about private parking tickets - how to get them cancelled!

Just wanted to say thanks to MSE and Coupon-mad for the advice on this site - we sent a letter to ParkingEye regarding overnight parking (breakdown!) at Fleet Services. We used the template letter on this site to complain directly to ParkingEye, I think we may have even been after the deadline (the notice was dated 15/12/14, our response letter was sent around 4/1/15). The charge was then cancelled, it did not go any further.

Its called "frustration of contract". You owed nowt so they could charge nowt.

Kudos though to SRM who is at the top of his game.

Thank you very much - UKPS parking ticket cancelled by the land owner (council), I had not parked incorrectly, disgusting that this company is profiteering they have not been assigned the bays I had parked in, but the ones behind, how many poor people will have paid!! Makes me cross - but thanks for all your help, such a great forum. :-)

Sounds like a follow up complaint to Trading Standards is in order, if the scammers are issuing tickets where they have no authority to do so.
