    Hi there,

I'm just filling in the form now, and have just realised that the title of the form I've been sent says "Card Protection: Compensation Claim Form". However, I've been mis-sold both card protection and identity protection. Does anybody know if this will make a difference in terms of whether I can claim for both, or whether I can only claim for card protection? My feeling is that it's them who have made a fault by only sending me one form rather than two, so I shouldn't be punished as a result?

I'm planning on adding a note within the statement on the form saying that I've only been sent one form, and therefore can't complete individual forms for both claims, and am also going to send them copies of each annual certificate for both card and identity protection as proof, as I think I've still got all of them.

What do you all think? Thanks a lot!

No, and you need a claim number anyhow.

    Too late for you now.

Not all is lost as I have found the claims form in the filling cabinet and all filled out ready to post today RMSD make sure it gets there before Saturdays deadline.

I sent my claim form back for CPP compensation several months ago! To date I have had no reply! It was only seeing the deadline for claims; and that most claims had been dealt with within eight weeks; that made me question as to how many people had not had a response to their claim! Obviously too late now to make a fresh claim!
Phoned CPP; see my other post! My cheque got lost in post; and new one will now be issued!
  • My girlfriend phoned up at the beginning of the month and was told she would not be eligible because they changed their ways in March 2011 and 'stopped mis-selling'.

Is this accurate or was it a ruse to stop us proceeding?
  • Hi,
for people sending CPP forms back via recorded delivery, the postal address is different according to the CPP helpline.
The return address at the bottom of the CPP form will not accept recorded delivery.
This is the address I was given by them, for recorded deliveries.
CPP Scheme, Abbey View, William Lea, Gate 1, Penfold Drive, Wymondham, NR18 OW2.
You can call them to confirm on their freephone number. I just did, thank goodness.
    Good luck!
  • Hi, just phoned CPP scheme regarding my claim form sent to them in February! I noted from news reports that the deadline for claims was 30th August; so I should have heard from them by now! After 30 minutes waiting on the phone; I was told that a cheque was sent out to me in February; but according to their records it was not cashed! I told them that I had not received the cheque; and they are now issuing another in the post; and I should receive it in the next four to eight weeks! So for all out there who have not heard by now; give the CPP Scheme a call; your cheque might have got lost in the post!
  • Hi, I received a couple of CPP letters ages ago and filed them in the 'not sure what to do with this one' pile. Then I saw Martin's advice to make a claim in last month's newsletter. I dug out the letter, made the claim and posted it off, not really thinking I would get anything. I'd only had the credit card briefly back in 2005. And surprise, surprise, today I received a cheque for £56.63!! Not a life changing amount, but much appreciated - thanks for the advice Martin - I wouldn't have bothered without your input. - My advice is MAKE THE CLAIM!

Hi all, I've filled in the paperwork for a claim and have two reply envelopes..one saying

"Policy Review Team, Holgate, York, YO24 4ZF"

    and one saying

"Customer Services Manager, Holgate, York, YO24 4ZF"

The address is the said, just directed to a different team. Anyone know which one it should go to?

    I also have the address:

    Scheme Processing Services Limited
    PO Box 250
    WYMONDHAM
    NR18 8DG
