i Am I going mad, or can anyone else corroborate my story? I remember tearing it up and it was at least 10 pages thick!
You might be thinking of the original voting paperwork sent to establish the Refund Scheme in the first place.

If you haven't returned the form yet, you are leaving it awfully late.

Oh no, I sent it via special delivery (where they have to sign for it) too! How stupid of them to have two addresses like that.

Hopefully it will still get there tomorrow and someone will pass it onto the right department. I can prove via the Post Office system that it reached CPP by 30 August if they quibble.

It's as if they're making it hard for people to claim......

I had four forms to send back - one each for my wife & I covering ID protection and one each for us both to cover card protection. Even though it was only one policy.

    Fingers crossed......
Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

    Best Comp win:X-Box 360!!

And thank you to all posters! You're wonderful!

Hardly, the forms were sent to everyone eligible months ago. Stragglers always find it more difficult.

In addition, I've found sending things via Recorded/Registered mail actually slows things down. My own PPI acceptance letter was never received by the Bank apparently.

Whatever it was, I don't remember a single page form. Maybe they stuck it all in together. Anyway I thought that was weird.

Fill in tonight, Special Delivery tomorrow.

    It's a £7 gamble...

On that note, what have people been putting in the big box? I was just going to say something like I took out the policy but didn't realise I would have already been covered by the credit card... Is that good enough you reckon?

    Just did, thanks.

For anyone else who is thinking of posting Special Delivery tomorrow, this is the address you should be using, according to Shash:

    CPP Scheme
    Abbey View
    William Lea
    Gate 1, Penfold Drive
    WYMONDHAM
    NR18 OW2

Google Maps can't determine the postcode, and Royal Mail's Postcode Finder has hundreds of results, but I cannot find Penfold Drive in there. So I guess I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed!

That postcode isn't the correct format for a UK postcode. The correct postcode is NR18 0WZ.

This address is not where the claims will be assessed. It is a processing centre that will be used by many companies to process incoming (and probably outgoing) mail. I suspect each document will be scanned into a system and later be read by someone who will approve the claim or not.

Mail to the PO Box address will be sorted by RM and delivered to the processing centre. I presume they don't filter out special delivery mail to this address so that is why you have to use the actual address for the processing centre. This will arrive and separately with other special delivery mail and then be added to the CPP mail that came via the PO Box.

So "special delivery" items will likely be delayed rather than expedited.

It's because it's syntactically wrong! It is more likely to be NR18 0WZ which covers this building (note it is Williams Lea).

Edit: Apologies, didn't spot knack92's post where this has already been covered!

I think I'd agree with that. Or they'll just be put in with the rest of the mail and not treat as special delivery.
