Dont't know what your "executive" means, but he is the editor here!
"Executive" means he takes no active role in the running of the site and simply licenses his name and image. He is not the editor in anything other than name, although he keeps this title.

Any "conversational" posts he does make lately have been about a month apart. He certainly hasn't posted on this part of the forum for years.
  • What is wrong with you people wanting to argue with everyone about every little details - who cares!!! Thats not why people are reading this thread!!

I already gave you a recent link where you see him taking an active role regarding the moderation that was going on in the Parking Fine forum.

I also already gave you a link from this week to a thread he has replied to posters.

Now you say he hasn't posted in this forum for years! It's a massive forum.

What's your real reason for all this Martin bashing?

(And you say you haven't misinformed us???)
  • for the record i got a cheque yesterday for £260. Took a while and thought it would be more, but can't complain :)

Yay! Received a cheque in the post yesterday for £232.38 courtesy of CPP!! Thank you so much Moneysavingexpert team! Also received a year's subscription to Tastecard to boot in a Moneysavingexpert competition I entered! :j:T Just need to contact the Ombudsman now with regards to previous cover which HSBC have rejected.....
  • I received three different letters from CPP inviting me to complain. I initially thought I'd been sent three of the same thing but on closer inspection realised they were all different account numbers. I replied to all three and received three cheques totalling to just under £1,000!!! I spent approx 30 minutes filling out all the forms, the best paid 30 minutes I've had!! I would urge anyone who receives a letter from CPP to fill it out immediately and send it back ASAP!

    Hi All,

I received around £250.00 from CPP, thanks to MoneySavingExpert.com!:T

    Thank you!
  • Filled in the template you provided and sat back and forgot about it.
About 4-5 weeks later received, unannounced thro' the post a cheque for £428.This included £100+ in interest payments.
I had no details to speak of in filling in he claim form and hence left it pretty vague. So CPP hold all the details and take it from there.
Thanks Martin and the Team. What a great service you're fulfiling.
My son is now pursuing his case based on my experience.
  • Well not quite.

I was sold CPP by MBNA on the basis of i definitely need it if my identity was stolen and it would be necessary for a balance transfer.

I received no letter (and for some reason I still have the policy).

When i phoned the CPP reclaim number i was told to go to MBNA. MBNA told me to go to CPP.

    What do i do now?

Letters only go to customers who have had the insurance since 2005. For earlier complaints you must go to the Bank who originally sold it to you.
