    thought this had ended

It's amazing given that it was just someone moaning about their shopping arriving slightly early...

My tears started swelling up. A very emotional line indeed.

    I undersand though.

Why would a cat or dog urinate on some bags of shopping??

perhaps they might mistake it for a troll

"A troll is a fearsome member of a mythical anthropomorph race from Norse mythology"

Allowing for the above it would have to be a brave cat or dog...

They knocked at 8.30, just as I was getting 3 kids off to sleep, which is WHY I had booked the delivery for after 9!!! but I ignored them as it's not my responsibility to make sure they finish their shift early but it is my responsibility to see my poor screaming 11 month old gets to sleep.
Can we just clear up the drowning babies stories.
She was getting them of to sleep & I doubt she was doing that in the bath!

Kimevans - you have one child; I have 3. Believe me, if you ever have 3 you WILL find it harder work and you cannot just carry 3 kids downstairs with you to open the door while you let the delivery driver in! Indeed, there might well be those who suggest that parents such as yourself who deliberately leave their children to cry are bad parents.
Are all three babies? I assumed (not unreasonably I think) that only one was a baby, of nearly a year I think you said. Do all your children always accompany you to the door?
Are their bedrooms so dangerous that they cannot be in them without you? I suggest you address these dangerous things you have in your childrens rooms & then they would be safe while you answered the door!
I have given you no clue to the sort of parent I am, so please do not pass judgement on what you do not know.
Being able to answer the door & raise a baby does not make you a bad parent:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
However I do know from you, that your house is so dangerous upstairs that your 2 older children are not safe upstairs without you being there.

After you posting such a mean judgement on my parenting skills I decided to see if you had posted your childrens ages. I CAN TELL YOU, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CARRY YOUR SEVEN YEAR OLD TO THE DOOR WITH YOU, IF YOU ARE ANSWERING THE DOOR. As the older 2 are BOTH at school, I really don't think they need to be carried to the door everytime you need to answer it.
IF you are doing this, I suggest its your parenting skills that need looking at!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people on here cant even operate a door handle without considering :

    Drowning babies
    Predators
    Sharks
    Murderers
    Terrorists
    Trolls
    Unsafe bedrooms
    Unsafe staircase
Or fear of the children being abducted.

Some really classic lines here..someone even typed a lift out of a midwives policy manual about leaving telephones and doorbells if the child is crying!
Well thank heavens for that snippet of information taken completely out of context. I wonder how the human race survived without that essential piece of information -albeit edited and out of context.

Seems some people on here are getting a tad worked about Dave Brooker for some obscure reason? There is even blatant attacks on Kimevans parenting skills!

Personally I dont believe for a minute that Tesco gave a full shopping refund anyway. Perhaps the delivery cost but I think the OP is just saying that to save face.

The point is if the door had been answered or the shout down to the driver to tell him to hang on, since the OP knew he was there, this wouldnt of happened. I suppose we could get really anal about the delivery slot, but the scheme of things its not a major concern. We as consumers, voters and members of the public are routinely lied to and promises broken. Whats the point in attacking Tesco when we are lied to by our own government?

I refer you to my earler post, Kim, and take it easy... :D

I wouldn't accuse you of that, however, as I firmly believe ALL parents have the right to bring up and look after their children in the way they see best (unless the child's health or safety are actually endangered, obviously) BUT would like and expect YOU to extend that same respect to me.

Obviously, the point about carrying 3 kids downstairs was a joke, hence exclamation mark.....

Surely you must have something better to do?.......;)

Oh, and dangeroussports - I refer you to same post - please learn to read, dear:

In fact, as I explained on page 4! Tesco apologised profusely and refunded my delivery charge, so I am happy with that - if Tesco themselves think they were in the wrong, then those who defend their behaviour might like to consider if this is entirely sensible......

Now let's all leave well alone - surely there CANNOT be anything else to say on this subject!.......... :D
