Tesco dumped my shopping and ran!

Only the OPs defenders are swearing and being nasty and yet they are the ones asking for a lock on it!
Wierd but then again the internet is a favourite place for oddballs.
And that it IS possible to answer the door when you have a baby/toddler, again quite reasonable.
For that I got told I was a bad mother who left my daughter to cry alone!!!!!!!!!
I just thought leaving a man who is out trying to earn a few bob (minimum wage) to support himself &/or family standing on the doorstep was awfully rude. I would never treat someone like that. I couldn't be that snobbish. Because I think the OP must look down her nose at Tesco delivery men in order to treat one so rudely.0 -
You want to get out more, you do.......
Glad to have answered your question, work on the reading, you'll get to grips with it eventually......
I think my readings fine;) I've just got back from going out for 9 hours or so, that's todays getting out for a bit.
Also your post you referred to re the phoning seemed rather general. Everyone else on here seems to have been phoned apart from you?
You also mention your preference for ignoring things when putting your sreaming children to bed, could you have done this with the phone? Or coulld indeed you hear it with all that screaming?
I just find it rather odd when something happens to everyone else but never with just one person?0 -

i'm just going to refer you to this post by martin which is at the top of the forum.
the two quotes you should read are:
"Please err on the side of caution. I never want to be put in the position of receiving an email complaining about a post and having to decide whether it must be removed. We all set different standards of language and behaviour. The question to ask yourself is "would anyone take offence?" to such a statement - if the answer is yes then please don't post it."
"And remember…. Be nice to your fellow MoneySavers"
as i have already told you on another thread, there are ways to get your point across without being rude.
i would also strongly suggest that you find other boards to frequent apart from the venting one, as seemingly everyone who ever complains is offensive to you.
Note the word "needless"...The money, Dave...0 -
kimevans - you are absolutely right and I totally agree with you. No - don't faint - I do agree with your comment The OP totally over reacted in this matter - it absolutely was not that important. I 'vented' - it being a 'Vent' Board - geddit? and then got over it. Got an apology and my delivery charge refunded and was then quite happy.
I genuinely wish you a great day - try posting on another thread where your undeniable hard work and great compassion for the working man will (undoubtedly) be in great demand.
I wish you well - and let me repeat my earlier comment - publicly so everyone has the opportunity to read it again -
I'm sure you're a great mother
I have no reason to believe otherwise. Genuinely sorry if you took my plea for mutual respect the wrong way - as a mother I do know how hard a job motherhood is and how sensitive we all are to any criticism, real or imagined, on this most important of subjects. You really do sound very stressed - I hope you feel better about it soon.
No-one means you ill - mse is (usually!a community of friends, albeit ones with, understandably slightly different opinions sometimes. Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, just as I am to mine.
Out of interest, still waiting for an answer to my earlier query:
Can someone explain to me why certain moneysavers seem to think being 'rude' to a Tesco delivery driver is beyond the pale yet being rude to a fellow moneysaver, who posted on a mutual advice site concerning consumer revenge re poor service, is not only acceptable but to be repeated and thanked?
Just wondered how you squared that circle?
Anyone????
EDIT: Just wanted to add, repeat of last comment was not primarily or even at all, aimed at you, kimevans. As explained here, I really do understand why you got so hot under the collar about my comments. Interesting to note that only post we both thanked was bestpud's below about this issue (parenting) being a minefield! Very true! Really am off out now.....0 -
