As scams go, this must be one of the least cost effective ones I've come across. The costs are high and from the posts here the returns must be very low.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I can't help wondering if this isn't just a money scam but some sort of protest about the banning online pornography thing. Because otherwise why wouldn't this have been done before.0

Because;
1. Supplying R18 videos by post is an offence
2. Demanding payment for unsolicited goods is an offence
Won't that do for starters?:)0 -

I think the DVDs are actually copies and have probably been pressed for pretty cheap with the added menus, I wouldn't like to guess how many people have phoned up just to "cancel their subscription" on a premium rate number0 -
So much for uncle Dave's !!!!!! filter
Many thanks for post #244 for actually giving some useful action to take, and indeed to the others who posted useful, considered comments
Newbie, here from "the googles" not convinced I'm hanging around tho'0 -
You can't blame the doubters, most times a newbie has come on here with a delivery such as this it is a troll. Stay around and you will see there are more good posts on here than bad.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Just thought I'd add myself as I too received two discs a couple of days ago I didn't put them in my pc in case it had a virus or something similar and didn't phone the number as i thought it would cost a fortune. How can they be stupid enough to think we would phone to unsubscribe when we haven't subscribed in the first place, duh! Anyway hope it's cost them a fortune and they've not caught anyone with it. They should be pursued by the police and stopped.0

No because the same scam could be done with more legal 18 rated material.
This scam isn't demanding payment either. If the person wants to call the number that's up to them.0
