My partner recieved two discs today too it seems that everyone is getting the same two discs, we decided to have alook ( yes I was curious lol ) . The small print states call for pin it will cost you £1.53 pm and will last approx 6 mins and if you text it will be £10 + netwwork charge . Will be putting back in another envelope with no postage as they were so nice to give me their return address hopefully they will have to pay their end!!!!!!!!! May be everyone should do that .

I can't do links but there is a post by someone called Gary cutlack talking about premium text messages. I wonder if this a variation on this Russian scam through Youtube. Don't know if someone else can post the link

I received the two DVDs, as did my husband, my brother in law and at least one of our friends.

I'm not prudish, but if I wanted !!!!!! in the post I'd order some myself, thank you very much!

Yes, I got the same two discs too. I reported it to Trading Standards and was tempted to report it to the police too as I was sure it must be illegal, but I haven't done yet, however.

I am in the south of Scotland. I have no idea where they got my address from, but it was correctly addressed.

A quick google when the envelope on Monday showed a similar scam with unsolicited blue pills being sent out about 5 years ago with a very similar return address.

Unfortunately if you do this YOU will then be breaking the law - as they did when they posted them out - because as other posts (e.g. #94) say R18 DVDs should not be posted under Royal Mail regulations and UK law and only sold in licenced adult shops which as someone else has pointed out even the discs say.

I believe you may also be breaking the law by not including postage on them if you did post them back.

6 year old son was helping us to open the post -opened an envelope before we got to it - it was addressed to previous owner. Assumed they had ordered it but thought it was odd as they moved 6 years ago. Just phoned 101 - they know nothing of it - say no offence has been committed - can't understand why they would be doing it as nothing to be gained - told them about the subscription fee but he said that you are willingly giving information and actually fraud dept would need to know about it not 101. He said he understands it was opened in error but no something he would advise and to send it back with 'opened in error' on envelope. Luckily son only saw 'boobies' and didn't notice/see the other highly explicit images.

Another newbie who joined after a quick google search - thank you forum, you saved my butt!
Just had to chip in with the fact I received two sets of these the other day, which tells me that it was definitely a purchase site on the internet. About 6 or 7 years ago I started ordering off the internet, and would address it to my g/f (now my wife), while the billing address was still my parents where I stayed. I updated it about a year ago.

The main site for ordering was amazon, as well as a few perfume sites (cheapsmells & beautysleuth). From other posts it seems the common thread is amazon- but surely it couldn't be that one of the biggest online retailers is selling on peoples personal information to less than reputable companies, could it?
