I would be inclined to keep them separate, knowing the limited competence levels of airlines. Also depends on how many passengers as small claims limit maybe approached?
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

    The alleged Ringleader.........
  • Thanks guys, I am writing two NBAs based on the template in Vauban's guide

I think I have found the CEOs email address online so I will try that.
  • Can anyone advise me please? I have recently returned from a trip to Alabama which was a disaster to say the least!! My initial flight from Scotland to USA went fairly smoothly but the connecting flight was cancelled due to bad weather (after being delayed for several hours), then the flight we were re-routed on was cancelled due to mechanical failure (after being delayed for several hours) then we were re-routed again on another delayed flight and basically landed 18 hours after we were supposed to. They are saying we are not entitled to compensation as the flight problems were within the USA but the trip was booked on a straight through ticket, all with the same airline. Are they lying to me? They also lost our baggage and lectured me on my lack of knowledge on American crimes in Charlotte :I

Operating airline counts. Sounds like your delay/cancellation was on a non-EU airline whose flights only qualify when departing from an EU airport
A non-EU to non-EU flight does not qualify
Maybe check if your travel insurance pays anything for the delay
  • EASYJET

    Hi guys

I filled a compensation claim with easyjet on the 20th and as yet haven't received even a conformation email from them. So i'm not sure if they've received my case..

Is this normal for easyjet procedure from them?

I have also emailed customer services and again not received any reply..

Google Vaubans guide and go from there. What are the circumstances of your claim

if you check on the easyjet thread there will probably be some indication on how long people are waiting
  • 12 hour delay belfast to Gatwick due to the early flight over booking. I wasn't even offered a bottle of water in that time. I only found out about the compensation recently from the mse emails. The delay was 2013 but I won't let up with this one..

    Thasks for the info.
  • EJ over booked the flight and i was left waiting for 12 hours. I was put on standby for the next two flights and crew and easyjet+ card holders got the spots before me. I was given no vouchers and waited a long time on eventually getting to Gatwick and missing an important day in work.

The flight left on time the simple fact is i was delayed due to there greed..

I have wrote via recorded delivery and set two emails and received no reply.

my question would be should i just proceed to the small claims court?

I have all the documents ie.. boarding pass

Yes - there is really very limited legal defense to denied boarding, so you will have a slam dunk case. If they are ignoring you, start a court claim (after writing a NBA giving 14 days). It should be straightforward to do, and they can't ignore it.
