    Hi
We have no record of our flight number and have tried the flightstats website without success. Haven't even been able to sign up to the site. Does anyone know of a way that we can track down our flight number?

Why can't you sign up to the site? You just need to register. Flightstats is the resource you need. What info about your flight do you already know?
  • Does anyone know if i can get compensation for a return flight from St Lucia back to the UK which was delayed? Or is it only for delays leaving the UK? Thanks

Aspen0697 please see my advise in the post above yours.

It will all become clearer when you have read the whole of Vaubans superb guide.

It make no difference if others have made a claim, they are all treated individually.

If you then have any further questions please post them on the dedicated Monarch thread.

    Good luck.

So long as it was a fare available to the public, then yes. Airmiles still qualify. See my guide for further details.
  • I am having to resort to the Small Claims Court to fight for compensation for an US Airways flight from Manchester to Philadephia delayed by 7 hours in May 2012.
US Airways tried to fob me off with vouchers which I did not accept. AA (who have taken over US Airways) are refusing to compensate.
I can only find a US address to write a notice before action letter to give them one last chance.
Does anyone know a UK address or should I write to the US Head Office in Phoenix.
    Thanks for any help.
  • I contacted Thoams Cook through their on line contact copying a template letter explaining my wife and I were delayed on a flight from Verona to Manchester in June 2008 they replied as follows

"Thank you for contacting us about your flight.

I am sorry that your flight with us was delayed and for any inconvenience that this must have caused you. We work really hard to ensure that when a flight is delayed the disruption caused is kept to an absolute minimum.

In order for me to proceed with your claim I would ask that you send one of the following documents:-

    • Your tour operator invoice
    • Your airline ticket
    • Your boarding cards

Once I have received the required documents confirming that you travelled on the flight, I will be able to process your claim. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards,

    Orhan Okay

    Customer Relations"

Obviously I think it will be near on impossible to find any of the documents they are requesting? Any advise? I know the tdelay is correct - I keep a diary and noted it in the diary so know the exact times
  • You can send as many documents as you want but 2008 you are out of time, so no claim.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.
