dundeediva, was your flight with Thomas Cooks or just booked through them? The reason I ask is that in 2009 most flights to Toronto from Glasgow were with an airline called Globespan who went bust in December that year. If it was that airline, then you needn't panic trying to find your boarding passes as you will not be able to make a claim.0

Three weeks ago my flight from Newcastle to Turkey was delayed for 5 hours. My booking was with Thomson Holidays but they were using Onur Airways, a Turkish airline. Can I still claim?
Do I claim from Thomsons?0 -
Hi, I was o. My honeymoon 4 years ago, flew out to Corfu fine, but gold trail who we booked with went bust while we were away. As a result our initial flight was cancelled and we were delayed at Corfu airport for12 hours and had to get a flight back to a different airport then get a coach back to our original airport. Am I entitled to compensation? Thanks0

Flying from Manchester to Sydney, Australia - the plane was diverted to Glasgow due to bad weather. The weather improved - so expected the plane to finally fly to Manchester to pick us up. Announcement was made saying the 'crew were out of hours'.. therefore, we had to GO HOME and come back tomorrow. We were eventually put up in a hotel in the early hours of the morning and had to return the next day!! We arrived in Sydney a day late, missing my daughter's birthday celebrations. We believe there should have been another crew to take over the flight on the original date???0

On Saturday 9th august my family flight to Bulgaria was delayed for 9hrs. At the airport they gave us a form on how to claim. But every email I send and the template that I have done has been ignored by the airline. I emailed balken holidays but they told me to contact the airline saying it was a bird strike that caused the delay as it came into bourgas airport, But talking to people in the hotel they said the people on our turn around flight knew in advance about aircraft trouble and had an extra half day at the hotel. How can this be when they would have been at the airport waiting for the flight. Can anybody suggest what I should do.0
