As I do not have the details they are requesting (and before anyone suggests it - I HAVE already been through my old emails and I dont have as far back as then, even in deleted/trash) do I have any more recourse? Thanks
So what evidence can you provide that you took the flight? If you start a court action, the test is that the court needs to determine that on the balance of probability you were indeed on that flight. You will make a sworn statement to that effect. But that might not be enough ...0 -

What did you say you'd do if you didn't get a reply within 14 days?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Hi everyone.
Thank you for your message of 30 September 2013. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience you mention and for the unintended belated reply.
We are sorry to hear that you and Ms********** were inconvenienced by the cancellation of flight AF8634, operated by Delta Air Lines, from Paris to Philadelphia on 29 June 2010. We understand that you are now claiming compensation for this.
Please note that we can only keep passengers' records on file for two years, therefore it is your responsibility to provide us with the following information before we can proceed with our investigation:
Thanks
If you ultimately go down the court route, you will need to prove at minimum, you went to the USA,

1) My post does not entail a question to which I would need to go to the FAQs to obtain and answer.
2) Congratulations on making the most pointless post in the history of the internet, that makes you just look like an idiot.
Is there an ignore button so I can use it on this person please?

Its been a while I know, but I thought I would give you all a progress report on 2 claims I have ongoing at the moment.
The first one is a claim with Jet2.com on a 7 hour flight delay from Arrecife (Lanzarote) airport in April 2013.
I followed the guidelines and sent the template letter off, getting this responce 3 weeks later, Shortened version - they are using the extraordinary circumstances rule to exclude them from Regulation 261/2004
I have just prepared a letter to be sent of to Madrid, Spain as per the 'Regulator in the departure country' complaints procedure
The 2nd complaint is with Thomas Cook for a 5 hour delay from Manchester this September.
Again did the template letter and again Thomas Cook are using the extraordinary circumstances rule to exclude them from Regulation 261/2004
So a complaint has been lodged & received by the CAA
I am not overly optimistic as to the outcome of either complaint, but I'm not a person to give up easuly!
Just wondering if anyone has received any compensation at all and more importantly from either Thomas Cook or Jet2?
I will keep this post updated as and when I have any news0 -

Perhaps have a good read of the court success thread and the Thomas Cook and Jet2 threads and perhaps post as appropriate in the TC and Jet2 threads.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
