I don't thin what they've offered is enough & I certainly don't want to fly with them again, can I refuse their offer?
You were denied boarding - have a look at the Thomas Cook thread - if you search there on "voucher" you will find over 200 posts but in short you are due "real money" for denied boarding0 -

£100 doesn't sound nearly enough Boo Radley, have a read of the FAQ's on the TC thread which you can find here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4384693
It sounds like you were denied boarding which in some ways strengthens you claim0 -
Hey everyone, just thought I'd give this a go for a domestic flight in Greece but realise I've got no boarding passes, just e-tickets. They also gave us some letters, offering us free domestic flights (within Greece) as compensation. We didn't sign anything, they just gave them to us. Do you think I should use them as proof that our flights were delayed or will these letters work against me? What did you submit if you didn't have your boarding passes anymore?

Taking Thomson to court next week. Received 300 page disclosure from them. They are now saying technical fault, namely, an ELAC(Elevator Aieron Computer)pitch fault as extraordinary circumstance. This was replaced the next morning (apparently a new one was flown down from Manchester to Exeter)
Can this stand up in court as extraordinary circumstance?
Has anyone else heard of anyone winning from this flight TOM6342 22 Sep 2010, delayed 17 hours?

Hi can anyone advise I am wanting to claim for 17hour delay some 6 years ago - I contacted CAA who said there was nothing they can do as XL airways has gone into administration
I recontacted them and asked for the administrators details
I am now trying to contact the adminstrators who are Zolfo Cooper but can't seem to contact via the link for zolfocooper as it keeps saying unable to display the page
I didn't think the process would be as difficult as it appears to be
Can anyone advise
Thanks0 -
So over six years ago, and from an airline that has gone bust? Your delay wasn't caused by the weather by any chance? Then you've got the full set ...0

It would not have been as difficult if you had read up on the FAQs before you started
key point that would have saved you having to do anything
Airline bust= no claim
The claim is against the airline, not the travel agent, not the package holiday company, not the administrator, nor anyone else. AIRLINE ONLY. If the airline is bust, you have no-one to claim against. It doesn't matter if the package tour operator is still in business and the airline is not. No airline = no claim.0 -

I don't think it's clear enough. Maybe I should re-word it? :rotfl:0
