Your post mentions both of the dictionary definitions of 'masturbation'. Either doing it to yourself, or having someone else do it to you.

This entire thread is in dire need of some definitions.

From the OP's reference to her OH's '!!!!!! habit' - eight times a day, or once a month? To 'masturbation' - who's zooming who? And so on.

What exactly is a "habit" according to the OP. Some would see a few times a week or a month as a habit, for some it would be a few times a day....that would be a bit much tbh lol.

I don't see the OP coming back though, so we'll never know.

I do see this as more of a front, so to speak for much deeper issues though, she seemed resentful about giving up her career to have and raise the kids, take care of the house etc.

I was (obviously badly) trying to point out that some !!!!!! is produced by exploitation and abuse. Some people are forced or coerced into being part of it. Some people are too young (ie young women) to realise what they are getting into when they are involved in this industry.

I have to say that for a lot of women it's not the !!!!!! they hate; it's the deception.

Like someone else on here, I knew something was up when MY laptop (not his) was invested with viruses and I got multi accounts keylogged which caused me no end of trouble fixing. I went ballistic. Then I would text him asking for a lift, he would say he was on his way, but in reality he was sat in front of the computer you-know-what. Then there was the obvious, he would be on the laptop a lot but when I went on somehow there was no internet history, and it was that deception and putting it in front which made me so angry.

I told him how I felt and how it's difficult to live in blissful ignorance when it's so obvious how he was going to lengths to 'hide' it. I've had no viruses, no more of these occasions since, and if he does do it I don't care because there's no alarm bells.

To be honest though, if I could I'd ban it all together. I can definitely see why the OP doesn't like it, because it can feel like you aren't enough for him.

Nope, couldn't have given a toot. We broke up because we were completely incompatible, practically ignoring each other, and I was constantly on the verge of cheating because I didn't love him or find him attractive anymore.

If anything the !!!!!! was a relief because it meant he didn't want sex.

I'd never tell a partner they couldn't masturbate, watch !!!!!! or anything like that at all. Masturbation is normal and healthy - it teaches you about your own body. Most men and women do it from teens upwards

I actually don't see anything wrong with looking at !!!!!! when all involved are consenting and willing adults.
But- if spouse is unhappy about it, if the person looking at !!!!!! is being secretive, lying, and falsely promising not to do it each time they are caught then yes I do see problems
