Then read and move on to the next post, I think the author was just expressing how she has discovered not everybody knws everything and that she has an active relationship.0 -
Thank you DUTR!
I was merely expressing my opinion and past experiences and trying to empathise with the original poster.
"I'm not a prude but" is almost as big a cliche as "I'm not a racist, but"DEBTFREE AND PROUD!!0 -
I don't know what the OP wants us to say??
We all have views and our own sliding moral scale etc and it won't be the same as hers.
She doesn't approve of something her husband does - something that is legal, does not involve harm to others and does not appear to be eating into the family funds.
Despite discussions, he won't change... she has two choices... live with it or end the relationship.
I know that sounds obvious but the OP does not seem interested in reconsidering her views so... live with it or don't.:hello:0 -

What's wrong with what she said? She is talking about a normal bodily function. She could just as easily be talking about eating, drinking, vomiting, urinating etc. they are all bodily functions and it's not as if she gave a full detailed description, you get more of a description of female bodily function during TV ads for feminine hygiene products.0 -
It's actually quite strange really that I don't mind the !!!!!! thing. As some of you will know, I am very insecure about my body/looks etc but have never had an issue with DH watching !!!!!!. We have both watched it on our own and together. When we're watching it, I don't actually think he would prefer to be looking or with the skinny, toned one.
Obviously, if anyone does it instead of having sex with their partner, then I see it could be an issue.
I haven't read all of the thread but I think OP should open up to her hubby and maybe he could try and reassure her. Obviously if OP can never be comfy with it then it is going to be a problem and that is OP's choice.0 -

Wouldn't want to hear about most of those 'functions' either, thanks very much...
Less is more!
Some posters are falling over themselves to share too much information... almost as a badge of honour...:hello:0
