went to the family planning clinic yesterday and got one more pack of pills, my last pack (!) as coming off them beginning of august
still going to wait to sep/oct to start trying and that is still slightly dependent on me being convinced we can afford it/husband has stable job but I agree with lots of you ladies on here, sometimes it really sucks trying to be responsible! x

Oh lulu - I know how you feel. Woke up this morning feeling REALLY sick and the first thing in my mind is 'morning sickness' - never mind that I'm on the pill, and even if I weren't, the timing isn't right for morning sickness... it's still the first thing that pops into my mind! Madness... sheer madness. (Pretty convincedI just have a terrible cold or something now...)
In other news ladies (and gents if there are any here?) IT'S JULY... that makes it like a whole month closer for everyone... sort of ;-)Officially saved enough to cover the cost of our wedding! :A0 -

Oh I do the same. I know I'm not 100% protected atm due to being late taking a couple of pills and when I was sick last week that counted as a missed pill - but still that's only a week ago!
Tempted to do a test to put my mind at rest (or make my day, I haven't decided which yet.)Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Lol, I'm avoiding testing (although I figure if I end up sick a few days in a row I might) - I've only done it once before, and even though I wasn't TTC, the BFN was still a bit heartbreaking... so I avoid it at all costs LOL.Officially saved enough to cover the cost of our wedding! :A0

Yeah I tend to avoid it, the docs like to test me whenever I go in though (eye infection - you sure you're not pregnant?)
Took one last week to rule out an ectopic being the cause of my pain - BFN.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Hello all!
Me and OH have been talking a lot more about kids lately, and whilst we're not there yet i just wanted to join this thread and get to know a few people in the same "grey area"!!
My Age/Partners age: 25/29
Time together: 5.5 years (married 14 months)
What are you waiting for?!: Mainly money - few bits need doing to the house to make it baby-friendly. Plus OH in relatively new job and I REALLY want a promotion to put me ina better position post-mat leave.
When will you be TTC? Mid 2015 onwards probably. Although OH would say sooner!
Any preTTC prep? No, except swatting up on coming off the pill.
I'm taking my mind off TTC by... enjoying all the stuff i won't be able to do!!
it's so hard to decide when!! friends of ours are starting to, and annoyingly i'm not quite ready but OH is as he's just those few years older. and he has very young parents (20 when he was born). Plus I'm very annoying and feel very strongly about not having a summer baby (sorry) as my Mum, cousins and best friends all say it affected them being the youngest in the school year. although someone told me that's changing anyway!!
what a rant, sorry all!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
Hi , i suppose i should join in too,
ive been with martin nearly 10 years, married for 3, we have 2 sons already, 8 and 5, we're waiting for ttc cause we're hopefully buying a house and once we are in, we'll be ttcits been a long wait for me as ive been broody everyday since my youngest was born lol! as it's soonish that we'll be ttc, ive already started on the folic acid and multivits, thankfully the admin and paperwork is doing okish to take my mind off the ttc!
xxMarried in 2011. [STRIKE]buying[/STRIKE] bought our first house 2014 :beer::beer: :j0 -
Welcome Cats! Feel free to rant away - it's what we're here for!
Ugh, Lulu, I'm sorry for you :-( it always sucks, even when you aren't trying (I will NEVER understand those women who say they are relieved to have a BFN - I think I'd be delighted even if it was super inconvenient). I hope the pain goes away soon!
I swear they should have told us when we were kids about the doctors... it's all, 'when you're grown up you'll have periods' and there's no 'when you're grown up they'll make you pee in a jar EVERY TIME YOU GO TO THE DOCTORS' seriously... every time.
Got a bit weird after the weekend, I'm planning some costumes for next year (I do LRP, I'm super nerdy like that) and The Boss and I were discussing the fact I might need to make maternity wear... have settled on some maxi dresses, as they're totally appropriate either way.Officially saved enough to cover the cost of our wedding! :A0 -

Thanks Tilly. Had a chat to OH yesterday saying that I was annoyed and upset that nothing is happening right now. We won't be able to buy our house until January, we cant TTC until we have a mortgage secured (or can we? thoughts?) and there's no talk of engagement.
OH said that everything's good between us now and I said that it's because everything is so good that I want to start our future NOW.
At the moment we are making sure we have money so it's overtime central for him so I hardly see him at all now.
Yeah I never realised how many times doctors want your wee!Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016
