Those who are waiting to TTC (New Thread)

My TTC Stats:
What are you waiting for?!: I finished the depo after five-six years on it about six months ago. Basically waiting for my period to rear its head again, so could be any time from six months to a year from now.
When will you be TTC? As soon as my period starts again!
Similar to my position Aileth. I was on depo for 11 years, came off it and my periods came backafter 7 months (first one was very long and heavy) then after that they settled down and pretty regular which i was suprised at as you hear so many horror storys about the depo.
Unluckily by the time it was a bit close to our wedding to be falling pregnant (wedding in May!) so we're holding off for now and trying asap after the wedding!0 -
Can I just ask, I note some ladies aren't on the Pill. I am but I hate it (tried switching pills but they all have some sort of side effect, and I've never liked the thought of pumping my body with this fake hormones anyway!) and me and OH talked about me coming off it altogether. However, we don’t want to consider kids for another year or two yet. Just wondering if anyone has a link to somewhere I can read and learn about 'learning your own cycle' and doing it that way?
I did this years ago with my then husband cant remember what site I used but there are apps…so you can track your fertile days and use condoms or abstain, I agree about the pill I have been on it 20 years and think who knows what it could have done…if men got pregnant im sure there would have been much more options by now lol for contraception0 -

If you google 'natural family planning' you'll get a lot of information. Also the book 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' is very good.
As another poster said, there are also smartphone apps available like fertility friend and ovia which will help you work out your fertile window.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
