I'm on cerazette too. No bleeds unless I miss a pill, take one very late or if I have some tummy trouble (won't go into any more detail but you get the picture) and then I'll get light spotting like you describe and cramps too (first time that happened I was scared as hell, terrified I was pg and it was ectopic/miscarrying - turned out to be IBS, didn't I feel stoopid at A&E). Take the test (you can't stay on the pill if you're PG so you need to know asap) but it does seem more likely to just be your body adjusting after some missed pills.MFiT challenge #60

What are you waiting for?!: Money and waiting until first ds is a little older and out of the cot
When will you be TTC? Spring/summer 2016
Any preTTC prep? I've kept all ds's baby things and saving!
I'm taking my mind off TTC by... Ds1 keeps me busy!
Hi. I have one ds who is 14 months old. Since having him I've not been broody at all. He was an easy baby and is a happy baby/toddler now so it hasn't been that putting me off another, I just wasn't thinking that way at all. Until this week! For the first time since having ds, I've seen people announce pregnancy and felt a twinge of jealousy!
We got into quite a bit of debt whilst I was off on maternity leave. I fell pregnant very quickly, we kinda thought we'd have more time to prepare. We bought our first house when I was around 3 months pregnant, still saved hard and had around £2000 for all new baby things and to top up maternity pay. It wasn't enough, I went back to work very part time to begin with as I wanted to be home with ds, so wasn't bringing in enough. Now I'm back working much more, we have enough money to cover everything without putting anything on credit cards and are saving a little whilst paying off our debts.
Dh and I had a chat about it last night and we've decided that we need to have a decent emergency fund (£1500) and then want to save £5000 for maternity leave/anything baby would need and we don't have. I know we won't manage this and be debt free within 2 years, but as long as we Can afford to keep paying our debts plus a bit extra I'm happy. I've got the date summer 2016 in my head, so almost 2 years. Ds will be almost 4 when new baby arrived if I fell pregnant straight away as I did last time, so will be out of his cot, out of nappies, etc.
I'm feeling excited at the thought of a new baby now 😃Starting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500 -
Well, I'm trying really hard to keep my mind off TTC and failing miserably! It's all I can think about at the moment.
On the plus side, DH is definitely on board and is starting to get a little bit excited about things, rather than just being resigned to the fact we are going to try for another baby. TBH, I'm actually very relieved that he's like this as I was very worried he wouldn't be on board at all. In fact, he even brings the subject up every now and then when we're planning things for next year.
I really need him on my side as I know for a fact my MIL will give me a lot of stick about this. In her opinion, more than 2 children is too many and has told me this many times. In fact, I was told whilst pregnant with DD3 that I should get myself sterilised once I'd had her because obviously I'm the only one responsible for getting pregnant .
Anyway, rant over for now. I'd best get back to work. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining in here, I've been lurking for a while trying to pluck up the courage to join in, and well, if I wait much longer I'll probably pass this whole thread by. May seem a bit odd to those of you who have long waits ahead for me to join now with only a short wait ahead of me, but there are a few things I'd like to canvas opinion on.
First My TTC Stats:
My Age/Partners age: 32/31
Time together: 12 years
What are you waiting for?!: there's been several things, risked turning this into an essay by going through them all, but some job and finances related, some a bit more frivolous (sounds daft but want a particular holiday first!)
When will you be TTC? November/December
Any preTTC prep? Not really, started doing a bit more exercise this summer
I'm taking my mind off TTC by...planning the holiday!
Now those things I’m pondering…
Do you think it’s necessary to see GP before starting TTC? I was just going to stop pill and see what happened and then go if nothing did after a while, but DH seems to think I should before I stop pill.
Can anyone share experiences of stopping pill? Part of my reason for taking it was to balance hormones, lessen mood swings, improve physical PM symptoms, and I’m worried about them coming back and any other side effects. It’s making me feel nervous about the whole starting TTC thing actually, which makes me feel a bit out of place here as I can see so many of you are excited. I suppose it may be a good reason to go with DH’s opinion re above and see GP to hopefully reassure me.
Sorry I am such a lurker!! I just wanted to say I mentioned to my doctor...she advised folic acid, a smear test just to check things are clear and a blood test to check my immunity to rubella (as apparently it can be very serious for a baby if contracted during pregnancy and some people did not get their mmr jab etc).

Thanks LisaJane
I did actually end up mentioning to my dr, the only thing she said to me was to wait to ttc until after I had my first proper af after coming off pill. Oh and that previous symptoms will probably return. Interesting to hear the totally different responses from gps.0 -
Right i'm off ladies! I said end of the year initially but things have changed so looks like we are loosely ttcing now! :-o Good luck to all! x0

Oh this board has got really quiet!
I'm counting down the months until we start TTC - 3 months to go!!
This week has been a particularly trying one with the children, especially with my DD1 who is now 11 and has ATTITUDE! It got to the point on Friday where I asked DH if I should just sell the last few bits of baby stuff that has been lurking around the house for the last 4 years and he said why? That's the first time I've really felt he's on board with all of this.
My parents in law will be visiting us for Christmas 2015 so I will hopefully either have a newborn or will be heavily pregnant, which is just another thing to worry about - I'm sure everyone can tell I'm a big worrier.
I personally hope I have a newborn for 2 reasons - in-laws will get to see their new grandchild and MIL won't be able to moan about me being pregnant again. Luckily, they live on the other side of the world, so I won't have to see them whilst I'm pregnant (hopefully). I actually do like my MIL, she just doesn't like big families, so it causes a bit of tension. On the plus side, she's a midwife, so it will be so nice to have an extra pair of experienced hands around to help.0 -
Maybe once the reality set in for your MIL she would realise moaning wouldn't make much difference and the thought of being around for the birth (if you were due then) could have the opposite effect on her?
I've applied for another job, if successful it will be more work but more practical hours (in theory) which should make the idea of TTC more realistic and practical from a child care POV. It's a bit of a long shot though, so time will tell.0 -

I'm not sure. I think the only thing that would make a difference would be if next baby is a boy. I have 3 girls and during my last pregnancy, she kept telling me to have myself sterilised. My BIL's wife has 3 children as well, although only the youngest 2 are my MIL's grandchildren and MIL was much happer when she find out the last one was a boy. Personally, I would love to have a 4th girl. DH would love to have a boy, although I know he'd be happy with another girl as well. I just don't think I could handle people saying we kept going until we had a boy. Also, seeing how my nephew is treated almost like a god and my poor niece is labelled as naughty for normal things children do makes me dread how the in-laws would treat another boy.
I'm my mother's only child so my children are her only grandchildren and she's happy either way (although she doesn't know we're planning to have another).0
