Hi all :) Well I had my implant out on 18th Feb, and my 32 day period finally ended a few days ago, phew! Just got a question as I know some of you on here have also come off the implant before. Did any of you lose what I can only describe as a "mucus plug" a couple of weeks later? It's absolutely disgusting and I don't wanna go into TMI as it's gross, but I can't quite believe how much there is...

Is it blood stained or just like a whitey/creamy/yellowy/clear blob of jelly?

Hello all, just thought I would drop in and say hello and ask a question if I may. I have got a 3 year old and me and DH are considering having a 2nd. It is very early days and we are definitely not trying for the next few months at least but I have been familiarising myself with the ttc journey and I am a bit unsure on something. I plan to use opk's but I am not sure for how long after I get a 'surge' we should be bd'ing. Is it the day you get the surge and 2 days afterwards? I am confused :o

MrsSippi Sorry, I have no idea about the opks. Try asking the TTC thread ladies, I'm sure they know what they're doing... I'm still at the bitter stage of longing to use them :rotfl:
There is hope for us yet

  • a positive, sunny, friday afternoon update: rapid progress being made on the house at the moment, might have it on the market around easter time :-) getting all ahead of myself looking at mortgages and lovely houses we could move to. Oh, and schools in those areas - definately *way* ahead of myself there as we're still WTTC rofl

Hope everyone else can enjoy the lovely spring weather this weekend too.

For the first couple of days I wouldn't say blood-stained but a light browny colour. Then it went clear for a couple of days. I think the first two days was definitely some sort of mucus plug. Then after that it might have been normal ovulation-time mucus as it was a lot less, and a much more normal amount and consistency :o

The joys of contraceptives! Anyway, I am now waiting for my next AF and once that's ended I'm going to start using the OPKs and we will start trying!

So after sitting with the oh tonight we've decided to bring trying forward a few months to September as doctors have said due to me having pcos and it getting worse it would be better sooner rather than later. Still a way off yet tho. Sequeena I know how you feel! 2 people at work have just had babies and another 2 with them on the way so it's baby central atm. Soooo broody xxx
