Anybody flagging. I can tell you I was, nearly gave up so many times. It was this site that spurned me on. You can and will do it. But you must be prepared to go to court.

  • Thank you Martin
    Bank: Halifax
    Amount received with interest: £1872.77

The bank refused to pay me on my stage 1 letter so took the matter to court via moneyclaim. They then put in the acknowledgement of service notice. At this stage i began to worry. However i received a letter from them on Saturday to say that they would pay all what i had asked for plus my court fee. My Bank account looked very nice this morning. Very Happy!

Thank you very much and good luck to everyone

    Halifax Bank
    Amount claimed £876 + Interest
    Amount paid £876

Started Claim beginning of April..Got the standard decline letter at the End of May. Phoned to ask them to revaluate my claim beginning of June and was told anything up to Eight Weeks. Rang a week later and got told it was two to three weeks to expect before a decision made .

After reading threads on this site I did the obvious.......I phoned Graham last Tuesday and was told by the very nice gentleman that he'd get an offer out in two to three days.

Saturday 23rd june...received 50% letter....phonedtoday and spoke to the Gorgeous Graham and bartered to the £876. Apparently he has been looking at this site over the weekend and is slightly embarrassed.

May I thank all on this site for their advice and also if you're reading this...THANKS GRAHAM :T I know you are just doing your job but the manner you use and the way you have dealt with us all is second to none.

Keep the faith all you who are still trying !!! It'll be worth it

PS. It shortens my debt period by 2 months roughly !!!!!
  • Bank - Lloyds TSB
    Amount Claimed £4700
    Amount repaid - £4950

Started the whole process in December, LTSB decided to try to play silly people, took it all the way to Coventry County Court and failed to appear today (25th June 07). Judge said they had offered full settlement, said they wouldn't be appearing to defend but failed to tell me!. Judge not impressed at all. Off on hols tomorrow, so a few beers on Martin!.
Thanks for all the help and good luck to all the other reclaimers!
