I applied for the statements AGES ago. I was going to let it rest until I was charged a whopping £85 for going overdrawn this month. So I sat down and read through my statements. I have only gone overdrawn 5 times in six years (all of them in the past 16 months) so £356 soon adds up!!!! As soon as I had the final amount I sent a letter out (Thursday) and recieved my letter today (Tuesday). Easy as pie.

    THANK YOU MSE

I sent my first letter at the start of April and received the refund just a few days ago, it took just two letters to get the money back. One requesting a refund as their unlawful charges (no pay out) and the second threatening court action (pay out).

    Thanks you Martin!

I am so grateful of this website and Martin Lewis :money: I wouldn't have known what to do otherwise so thank-you very much all.
I have decided to except the offer of £3500 as that is more than I expected and I now don't have to take them to court, which I would have done if they hadn't replied or had offered me any less. I have got to wait 14 days and the money should be in my bank account which will be nice to see, and I shall have a good weekend away at the end of August in Edinburgh, amongst a few other treats and save the rest for a rainy day.

Thank-you ever so much again and keep claiming everyone it works!!:T

I only had to go as far as sending off the request for repayment letter to Natwest when they paid us the amount I asked for (minus the 8% interest). As they had been charging my husband's account with £700 per month  for quite a while, we were both thrilled with this result. I'm now in the process of claiming back £2000 on my account as well. I'm so grateful that I saw Martin Lewis on This Morning, because for us this has been a life changing amount of money. Thank you!

Thank you to all who gave me the push to reclaim. I have passed the message to reclaim to everyone I talk to.

Thanks for the advice Martin, an extremely profitable days work. HSBC did leave it almost the full 8 weeks before sending through the offer. Returned the acceptance this Monday and understand from HSBC that the money will be in my account within 2 weeks.

Recieved just under a £1000 for getting my council tax band re-listed so it's been a great couple of months.

    Thanks again
